Though that would be bringing bad news to many, there is ultimate growth expected to mark in the records for Motorola.
Given a chance, what would you mainly stand up for future of the employees who lose their jobs in the process or the betterment of technology including the snatching away of career opportunities of the people? Share your views

I wouldn't be surprised to see the end of the Motorola Mobility nameplate in the next couple of years and see it be rebranded under a name that fits the Google brand better. However the VP layoffs are no surprise honestly, if you look at any company buyout/take over/merger you see high up employees getting the axe, especially those that the new parent company believes led to the demise of the new child company to the point that the merger/buyout/takeover was possible.

The reason for some of the layoffs is that Motorola Mobility, while producing some nice products, has been a bit of a losing company recently. To curtail this they are laying off, reducing internal and external costs, and stream lining. This will hopefully allow the company to survive long enough to become a profitalble addition to the google family and help with googles plans of manufacturing their own mobility products in company.

More recently their "Droid" line of Android based phones have also been popular. I remember when the Android OS first came out as a mainstream phone OS line and Motorola launched its first Droid phone, they were popular even though there were lots of complaints about battery life.

its a good thing Google bought Motorola because they can improve on the Motorola design and not have issues like Apple vs Sammie
imagine what would it be like if Sammie and Apple suddenly decide to merge and co-operatively work together?

It would be interesting if it did happen, though I don't think it would. Apple is just to strick and stuck up to truely make products for the masses rather than their cultish fanboy followers.

And, of course, when something becomes popular, all manufacturers want to do the same thing.

The problem is that Apple designers spend a lot of time working on the look and feel of their devices. Then, a lot of people love this design.
And, of course, when something becomes popular, all manufacturers want to do the same thing.
