I was at Bullmoose today (The best record store in Portland Maine) and I picked a double CD called 'On the Shore' by 'Friends Of Dean Martinez.' It's entirely instrumental and all I can say is that it's incredible. I haven't really heard much of their stuff before but I knew that most of my friends seemed to love it. And for good reason. This has got to be one of the most musically fresh albums I've heard in a long time. It's sort of a jazzy, tex-mex, alternative fusion that eerily reminds me of Radiohead for some reason.

Anyway, I stumbled across a great record and now I'm passing the word along.
