theres a video i have i want to stream on my site ... is there a programe out that to change a mpg or a mpeg to a steaming format such as wmv.. for one mpg's and mpegs i have are a bit too big but im sure theres some proggy out there to convert them and lower the quality so there not so big and lumpy

try windows movie maker, it's standard installed on your windows machine. It is a basic movie editing program which you can use to create/edit videos. It should be somewhere in your start menu

OR

Get a video convertor, but usually most of them are not free and have limitations on them.

Try the virtualdub utility for video processing. Itīs powerfull and free.

use movie maker. what better program to use than microsoft for it's native format. you get lots of options as to what bitrate, end file size, encoding format to use.
