Hehe.. don't bother - shit like this happens.. You've all rights to do it if he copied it off - but just see to it, that if the person has attempted to reword the whole thing in his own language and is not a 100% copy, then I think we should give him/her credit... but even if it is 50% copied and appropriate credit citation is missing, then go ahead and rip 'em apart

No, I don't think that you were too hard on him at all. He copied most of the article, and didn't give credit for it at all, so that is plagerisim.

The fact that he gave you neegative rep for doing your job, should automatically cancel his account...

Well, I don't really care WHO does the " crime" .. The point is... rules here stipulate that you may quote parts from a site, but have to put it in quotes and give credit. So no, you were not too strict on PC Ashtray. He should know the rules pretty well by now, and how would it look if we didn't enforce the same rules on EVERYONE...?
