if i keep this up for a year, then go technophobic and stop posting, my hosting credits would last me 2 years of inactivity.
i propose that the amount of granted hosting credits should take into account how many hosting credits you already have.
for example....
For users with between 0 and 20 days hosting credits, each good post be worth 1 day credit.
For users with between 20 and 50 days credits, each good post be worth 0.8 credits.
for users with between 50 and 100 days credits, each good post be worth 0.5 credits.
for users with over 100 days credits, each good post be worth 0.2 credits.
This way, the less active members will level out at a lower level of hosting credits, and more active users will level out at a higher number of hosting credits.
so that once it is properly calibrated, users makeing approximatly one post a day will stay at maybe 7 hosting credits...
and users making 20 posts a day will stay at maybe 200 hosting credits.
Just a surgestion... What do you guys think ???
I thought of it wben i noticed that although im not very active vompared to other mods, my hosting credits are almost 180 and going higher every day.
I thuink that we should all agree on the scale, but I think that would be very good thing to do...
Up to 30 hosting credits it's easy to add after 30 the posts will only gain 1 hosting credit if 300 or more characters slightly more if +600 characters. no UBB codes are counted.
One liners gain almost nothing. The formula works both ways, so if you see a post that is not acceptable, delete the post unless it's post #1
