After one years development, Xfree86.org released xfree86 v4.5.0, the sixth version of xfree86 4.x series.

Althought it is no longer available for free, please don't forget what they have done for the linux.

Says the website, "It is on our website and ready to download. 4.5.0 was born yesterday and the delivery I hear wa [sic] smooth. Get a copy now. It's just terrific....details to follow." '

I haven't forgotten what they have done, but I also don't like what they did. Unfortunately, X(not)Free86 will just be a bad memory to those who remembered the good times they had with it. Xorg has been doing just fine for me, and I see no reason in changing.

Cheers,

MC
