At the Top of the main page is the welcome to astahost message which includes this line:

While I agre this kind of warning is necessary to help prevent astahost from being swarmed, I feel that the IE Users portion is inappropriate. Although Firefox is a better brwser than IE, I feel it is unfair to discriminate against people because of their browser. Also, I still use IE, as some sites (including, but no limited to, windows update) require IE to function properly. I feel this part of the warning should be removed.

Heh, yeah, I was making fun of it when it was first stated up there... Even though VERY few people read that part of the page, we should really change/remove that, as it may be offensive for computer experts using Internet Explorer. For computer noobs using Internet Explorer, who cares! ;)

szupie, that's not nice. You were a newbie at one point too. Although I guess you said "noobs", in the derogatory form, so never mind, I agree. But newbs should be politely sent to trap17 until such as a time as they know enough to come here.

Sorry, I was actually joking when I said that sentence with the word "noob" in my previous post. Yes, I had been a noob not long ago (1 year?), and I think I deserved to be called a noob back then. Anyway, back to the topic, I don't think "newbs" should be just sent to trap17, as they probably would stay there long, and just cause more problems. Also, that would just turn trap17 into a waste basket thing, which gives OpaQue the same problems, but just in another forum.

Well, I think we should outlaw noobs entirely, but newbs should be sent to trap17, since they just need to learn a bit, and are interested in learning.

I was right then, it is the fact that you aren't in amience mode. At the bottom of the page, if you change the skin from lite to ambience you will see it, it's not in the light mode anymore, so I guess it now needs to be removed from amience.
