link to tutorial.

In my opinion, this tutorial surgests bad practice, disregarding filetype extensions, and delibratly performing poor directory organisation to hide files.

I also believe that this is obsolite, as a correct use windows multi-user multi-login and passwords should protect your own files from other users much better.

Also, there are plenty of fre better tools that offer an encryption based portoection.

Rather than just take action (and un-do anouther moderators decision) i thought i should see what you guys think.

In my opinion, this tutorial is not good enough.

I agree, these are bad tactics and generally don't apply anymore. However, it had been approved, so I hadn't taken the time yet to say anything, but I was simply going to place an advisory reply notifying readers of this.

It's not even really a tutorial lol.
It's just telling people to do something which might screw themselves later on...

Although, changing filem extensions is quite useful for smuggling programs through attached files...Per say with hotmail as a example.

It's okay to make mistakes though...We all are human.

Well... It doesn't deserve to be a tutorial, but however you see it, I don't think that it's appropriate to delete. Although there may be better solutions for privacy protection, it's not done to just delete the old/obsolete solutions?

And now it's moved out of the tutorials section, it's ok now... right?
