Nedwolf's Portable Freeware has a very good collection of software that one can carry around on one's USB Key or flash card etc. The main benefit of software such as this you don't have to go around installing it . Just plug in your external storage medium and run it off the disk.

Browsing the site, I came across yet another site whith the same concept in mind - PortableFreeware.com

But what if the remote host doesn't have a USB port or rather an available USB port? Well, you can upload it to a storage site online like your GMail account or even Astahost [ although that clashes with their policy, perhaps ? ]
