This simple game can keep me entertained for hours...click here to play.

Pretty much all you do is make little pathways for the 4 different substances to follow. The Namekuji is like a slug, and it grows in size if exposed to water, but shrinks and explodes if exposed to salt. Oil is flammable and you can start it on fire with fire. Water makes plants grow as well if it falls on any plant. Sand pretty much does nothing. Cera, or wax, just acts like wax and it burns slowly. The ??? pretty much destroys everything on the screen. Enjoy!

This is fantastic. It has kept me busy for hours! Thanks so much for the link!

It reminds me of playing in sand dunes when I was young! LOL

well you know there is alot better version of it here is the link to download it
http://rossrs.us/wxSand.zip
unpack it and click the executible

you can also get pysics files from
http://fallingsandgame.com/wiki/index.php/WxSand_Mods

my favorite are the chemistry mods because you can make chemical compound like sodium (Na) and clorine (Cl) to make salt
you can also make your own mods for the game. You can visit http://www.fallingsandgame.com to find a tutorial on how to make your own mods

well hope you have a look, I bet you'll like it :P

Love these games, very addictive. Although I stopped doing that a while ago as I do have it busy.

Can act in a small window on one of the screens in a corner, as an interactive lava lamp replacement. I did have kewl screenshots but can't find them at the moment; and it is unlikely I'll go upload new ones now or seek the old ones :P

Your right falling sand game is to addicting! I played it more than I played runescape laugh out loud! They should really make it a flash 8 file though so all computers can run it. :P

Wow! This is so awesome!
After playing around for about half an hour, I'm now waiting for my ocean to fill up. Then I can infest it with plant, then I can burn it all! Mwahahaha! ;)

Wow I'm surprised this has been brought up here. This game is old and had a small community.
My favorite versions of it are Firstly wxSand (0piette).
Now for my second I would have to say Dan Ball's Falling sand game.

Opiette's version has tons andtons of mods for it you can spends hours just exploring all the different sand speck types. Then See all the kinds of reactions that they do to eachother. My favorite mods for this was the spaceship or base mod. You could build a spaceship or base with personel, Working power system, and weapons systems. All in all very fun for awhile but you get bored after a hour .

Now Dan ball's version has some interesting features like controling a person who can spit out the sand types, Gravity and wind affects , differnt view modes, contantly updating, and overall good physics.

But it all depends on what you like so dont let me decide on which you like or want to play. Go ahead and correct me if I'm wrong about something.
