Icon Constructor is the program offered for free by Give away of the day. Hurry only 18 hrs remaining . Please read the following carefully.
It supports Windows XP icons in 32-bit color depth with an alpha channel; now you can create semi-transparent XP icons easily. With just a few clicks, any image can be turned into an icon.
Assign eye-catching icons to individual Windows folders, making every folder different.The simple Icon Constructor interface makes it easy to change the look of an every folder.
1.Open the downloaded file and install it.
2.When the program prompts to enter key.
3.Just open/edit the ic.key file. All it contains is the serial number. Copy the serial and paste to register it.

5.Be ware some users reported Avira Anti-Virus software has detected when installing this software
The heuristic detected a suspicious file; containing suspicious code: HEUR/CRYPTED.Maybe it is a false positive. No one else with a different virus scanner gives alarms.

By the way, talking about freeware, remember that xnview also does that.
Thinking about that, you have plenty of time, because, as far as I remember, Xnview is totally free all the year long.
