Hiyah guys,
Not been around too much posting wise but have been sorting out hosting requests and tuts, as a consequence my credits have been dropping down.
About a month ago I had around 60+credits, not done too much posting so its been decresing, last week I checked I was on around 26, I have made a few posts but not many.
Today I am checking out all the hosting requests that are sitting around and I now notice my credits are on 6!
The only thing I can think of is that someone has deleted some posts by me?
Or that my credits are somehow decreasing at a faster rate?
I did have some problems on my account recently that were reported to Shree and fixed, maybe something went wrong then?
Can an admin look into this for me? while I hammer out some tuts really fast to gain my 30 credit buffer I like to keep B)

Hosting credits are never independent from one member to another. And your hosting credit system is not affected by hosting account issues. It's the other way around.

So eliminating the first possibility since no one else reported, it is most likely that your posts were deleted giving you subtraction in credits.

The situation must be documented... by doing a calculation a week ago you had 26 and now you have 6? So you have lost 20 credits in 7 days? Please document your progression for OpaQue. Do a screen capture around the same time for multiple days. Let's see if there is hosting script leak.

Ok even more strange..after I posted the last post my credits went to 8.3.I did not post anymore and didnt come back to the forum.
Today I started up my pc and did my usual morning routines then when I come to the forums my credits are listed as 8.3.
I use Opera and it tends to cache pages on the forum so i did a force refresh of the page to find my credits were now at 8.48! so yesterday it didnt seem to take off a credit at all for the day and added .018 credits???
This is very strange!!

I am going to add this post then do a force refresh then make a new screen to see how many credits this post is worth then edit the post with a new screenshot.

B)

I was checking the credit transfer system after seeing a coplaint in the forums that it wasn't working. In order to check the system, I made a couple of transfers from my account to the bank, to Mark420, and from the bank to myself.

I transfered 1 credit to Mark420's account. Kind of randomly chose a staff member and didn't figure that you would notice.
This was May 27th, 2007 that I performed the transfer so it is not related to and loss of credits you noticed recently.

I hope it wasn't me LMAO

I've been suspending a few members' accounts recently but have not been deleting much. They were usually moved to the JUNK forum or I just deleted their post itself and not the entire topic.

On a similar note, I've been fluctuating around 0 credits for a month now, occasionally above, and occasionally below. I've noticed that when I should be between 0 and -1 credits, I'm usually around -4. But after making a post usually worth around 1 credit when my credits are at around 1, my credits count will jump from that -4 back to slightly positive. So this seeming extra decrease in hosting credits seems to have no actual effect on suspension status. I know that when a member is low on credits they get a slight boost to their credit count per post, but I didn't think this boost would cover a 3 credit per post increase. Since I'm currently at negative credits, I will monitor the situation and intentionally fluctuate around zero and take screenshots for you.

I had that problem too, 2 weeks ago I had 30 hosting credits, after 2 weeks of rare postage, this morning I have 13 credits. Now, when I reposted, I have 15.80 credits. (I always keep at least 15 credits, so I will definitely repost when it falls through 15)

At first, I thought I was just hallucinating, but apparently now I know someone has that problem too.

So, update on the badly displayed credits when I go negative. I got my credits positive, then let them run out and checked back today when they should have been right around 0. Sure enough, they displayed -4.00. Pictures and timestamps below.

I will edit this as soon as I have a picture of my credits back up, as well as a quotation of the text that brings me back to positive, so we can tell if it is compensating for the -4.00, or if it might just be a display problem.

EDIT: As expected, this post, and only this post, brought me back up into the positives. (Just the text above this edit).

Since 5 days ago, I have doubled the amount of my credits. So why does the credit system become so unstable? I thought the rule was that you lose a credit a day.
