It's been over 2 days and it isn't even weekend.. sorry to sound impatient or pushy.. but i was banking on this being a quick process

justjoey, how old are you exactly? In the first part you said you were 18, and then when you were asked your age you said 15. Would you make your mind up.

And the admin do have other things they need to be doing. The statement you quoted was based on an idealistic week. There is a problem with the credit service, and I don't think anyone else will be accepted until it has been fixed.

Im 15, i probably just typed 8 on the numberpad instead of the 5. Well the quote did say that it'd "NEVER" be more than 24 hours, what else am i meant to think? should i think about them looking after their kids and feeding the couple of beggars outside on the streets? oh and sorry he has a 90 minute run each evening. They promised a service that would take no more than 24 hours, even if they did have other things to do, this promise should be kept, if they couldnt fulfil it, then they shouldnt have suggested it - especially with such confidence in using the word "never".

Sorry, justjoey. We shouldn't have written "less than 24 hours", since it rarely takes less than 24 hours. I've asked the admins to change this. Sorry again for misleading you.

It usually takes about 5 to 7 days for applications to be accepted.

Approved. Check your email for more directions on how to activate the hosting.

Now about the long wait, I'll list you what I normally do per day. I go to school, 8 hrs a day usually, I design websites, make skins for IPB forums, I have a family - which takes up time and effort as well, I do play a game, in which I am an admin as well. And my day only counts 24 hrs. That's how it is, all the admins here, have day jobs or school which takes up most of their time. This is a free service and no one here gets paid for what is done here, no one. Not even the admins. We just give some of our time - when we have some to give - to be here. Just like you do for your hosting, only we, in addition to trying to maintain our own credits, we read most posts (usually all posts are indeed covered by the staff together) we moderate (approving, not approving even warning folks) and approve or deny hosting accounts, which in itself is - check the request, check all posts made by that member and then decide. Sometimes we consult other staf members as well. I hope that explains it a bit more.
