This host is very interesting because it's supposed to have no filesize limitations, you should be able to uplead up to one giga files ! More than one CD in a single file !
Il will try it as soon as I will have a decently fast upload Internet connexion.

This is a fast file hoster that has no download timer and no limits on downloading!!! Upto 1GB Upload! Also very easy to use+image upload capabilites. At the end of the upload, the server gives you the address of the download URL (for instance http://wibzy.com/download.php?file=314909 ) and the "delete file" URL when don't need to share the file anymore.
I find this method very interesting : If you want to share a photo album with a single person, you don't need to put all the pictures on your astahost site, you simply zip them, upload the zipped file to wizby.com, send a mail to your friend with the download link, and finally delete the file from the server when your friend told you he received it.

Wouldn't it be cool if someone found a way to replace their entire hard drive with an account on this site.By the way, is there a network disk which could be used when booting from a Knoppix CD ?

However these cons can be easily ignored if you don't care about having a registered storage space. If you do want a collection of files a good site is fileXoom.com which offers 2gb of space and unlimited bandwith. The bad part about it is that you can upload only 100mb a file.

you'll have to record all the links if you are going to make a collection. Also, it's easy to lose the file if you forget the link.I give my g-mail address in the "e-mail" box, and then I receive a mail confirming the URL of the downloaded file, so I have the info from any browser in any place.

I think it's like other file-sharing hosts. If nobody needs your files, they will not be accessed, and will disappear.
For communicating home videos or home pictures bundled in a huge zip file, I think it's quite usable, you download, mail your friends, they will download the files, and you distroy the files because you don't want them to remain public any more.

It's even worse than that. Seems that the whole site disappeared... The url is unreachable since several days.
