Hey guys got a bit of a suggestion here,

Sometimes Its important for the mods and admins to chat to each other in real time..we are the moment use the forum built in PM system for most of that contact.
I suggest that if we use an IM such as Skype, MSN, etc that we leave the details in here so we can chat faster and more effective and also..bringing us together a bit more as a team

OpaQue uses some instant messenger that can connect to multi-platform IMs. I'll ask what he's using. I thought he said Skype...but I guess I was wrong.

He has ICQ, AIM, MSN and Google and told me that one program connects to everything... I'll ask him

Naah OpaQue uses GAIM ( http://gaim.sourceforge.net ) for that.. he's been trying to get me to shift to that for a long while

Cool, this is the 3rd IM account I've gotten for you. I guess I can delete discodroid2000 now!

Anyway, I use GAIM as well which connects YIM, AIM, MSN, ICQ, Jabber, etc... You have to have accounts for each type except ICQ and AIM. If you have AIM, then you can connect to ICQ. May be true for a few others as well.

Anyway, now you know how to find me if needed.

Trillian fan here Used GAIM in the past but then converted back to Trillian again LOL.

Do you mean the GTalk add-in for Trillian? If so, I'm having problems using that feature also. Still haven't figured out how to make it work properly even after adding that extension in.

EDIT: Eureka...I found a solution to it

Go into Trillian->Connections->Manage my Connections. Then click on Plugins on the left hand panel. Check the box for Jabber. If it's not installed, install it from the Trillian site and then come back to this step. Next go back to Identities & Connections. Then choose Add a new connection and choose the identity you want to add this one in and choose Jabber. Type in your username @gmail.com. Then type in your password. Now click on Change and on Server Host, type in talk.google.com and click on Save Settings. Hit Connect and you're in.

Let me test this out with Mark now
