Hi. I'm being automatically logout by astahost. Been experiencing this now and also the last time I log in, which is like last week. Not a major serious problem, as in I can always log in back again. But it is kinda like a nuisance, so I would like to know whether it is just me or is there now a new policy in place in astahost?

Been a long time since this happen, but I believe to correct this was to change your cookie settings to hold in more info on the forums.

I know IPB doesn't have a timed log out feature like vbulletin.

But like I said it's been a very long time since this has happen, don't know if anyone else remembered it or not. I know it happen to me a few times before. But I believe it corrected itself.

Another thing I can think of is if you opened, using the same browser type, another window to view AstaHost, the fist browser and the second browser will automatically log you out.

This is not the case of you right click and open another link from the first browser.

Correction: it looks like it only happens under IE6

I occaisionally need to log-in here, too.
And no deletes to the cookies or anything on my part. Doesn't happen very often, but co-incidently, tonight was one of those times.

Well, personally I don't get logged out, as my cookie stays whenever I refresh the tab I am always logged in, so it is definitely problems with your browser, I mean cookies. You might be using a proxy or software which doesn't accept permanent cookies, just try to clean your cookies and login here, check what kind of a cookie you get.
