- First and foremost I enjoy working with computer software, especially websites and different programming languages. I have two degrees from Rock Valley College, one in Networking and one in Computer programming.
Secondly, I am a person with many interests, with gardening of vegetables, perennials, and wild herbs and forest plants a top priority. Hence, my site will be called gardening-by-cathy.net, of which I already have purchased the domain. However, I plan to tie into gardening all my interests as they apply. For example: Cultivating Character would be a discussion on the books of Louis LaMour.
Also "Digging your roots deep" might apply to an in depth discussion of some programming language and/ or operating system. I will say here and now that even though I do not have alot of experience in Linux, I don't like the way Microsoft does things. I will shout a loud hurrah to Open Source software and programs and all the time and effort that is put into their development and support by many people out there.
See anything can be related to gardening and vice versa.
I also am a part time Substitute teacher because when I was fulltime, it turned out to be parttime with all the time off that the students received. And of course, no students means no work.
Finally, I am a creative thinker and enjoy learning new things.
