As evidenced by Rudy (and if you can read and or respond to this Rudy, no offense), it appears that hosted members who are not moderators or admins can view and post in the Staff Section. This problem needs rectificatin at once.

I don't think so - I checked up all the permission masks and they seem to be fine. My best guess is, since Rudy is a Forum Moderator (check the Programming Forum - he's one of the forum leaders there & not Global Mods like the rest of you) - he has valid access to this forum too. Somehow the permission masks work that way. I don't think this should be a problem ??

yup, it's the forum mods thing. Forum mds have permission to view the staff section, but aren't listed in the Moderators group. I did not know that (NilsC told me).
