Right now the default install for a forum in cPanel and Fantastico are phpBB, now phpBB may say its all fine, we know better, they are at risk and are high targets right now. there new system isnt due out for a while now. With so many holes and patches I dont think it should be kept as default. I believe a much better system already in cPanel and Fantastico called SMF would be much better. SMF was built around a much more secure code base, with parsing of code being done in Sources while showing data is done in Themes, the structure is built to be more secure. It would maybe be a good idea to change the default which is currenlty phpBB to SMF.

Is that possible at all infact?
