When you warn someone, at times they reply with pretty obscene words and insult you as if you were dirt from the street. If that ever happens, to amy mod here, post here or send a pm to one of the admins and we will instantly ban that person.

Best course of action is to forward that pm to us, but we take your word for it. So just let us know and we'll take care of it.

I've never had that happen to me before, even though I have warned a lot of people. Can they see their own warning level? And can they see our comments on why we warned them? I'm not sure if that's a moderators-only function.

Ya the people whom you warn - only they can see their warning reasons/comments besides the mods and admins.

To everybody else the warnings appear only in the form of that graded (%) bar. Reasons are not viewable by them.

Well, when I became Global Mod, I was so very nervous, I had very little faith in myself. Nils helped me through that And then I warned my first spammer, very politely if I may add (that changed nowadays, I say it as plain as I can) and he replied with insults (I had the f word, the w word used for women etc.) Nils banned him instantly.

I think it's important for mods - especially new mods - to know that it does happen, and that it will be taken care of.

Personally I don't insult them or something, I just tear them a new a**hole and screw em there with a rusty nail sideways Or in plain English, I send them a pm asking them if they're proud, and then congratulate them on the ban.
