I recieved the following PM from a great new member, who wrote an excellent tutorial.
Unfortunatly, dont know how to resolve this myself.

QUOTE

If you would do me a favour, please take a look at my post http://www.astahost.com/index.php?showtopic=9048&hl=

Although 2 mods liked the howto, I have received 0 (zero) credits for it. Please could you check that out for me?

Otherwise I am more than happy that I am now hosted and I'll continue to contribute meaníngful posts on the board.

I think this guy is one of the greatest new members iv seen, and definatly deservs some points for that tutorial.

could someone help me verifying if he truely recieved zero points, and adding the points he deserves. Thanks,.

Errrr.. since opaque's not here and I couldn't do it the normal way, I transferred 7 credits out of mine to this guys, keeping in view of his writeup + age.. Will serve as a good impetus hopefully ;)

Sent PM To Curare,

Hi,

TUTORIALS get points right after they are posted. We don't hold your points. This is done so that members who are in an emergency, don't have to wait for an admin to give them points.

You have 31.25 points and now you have 19 points. This means, After you got hosted, your points were RESET and now you have 19 points.

Which means, you have earned around 50 points till now. Also, We have not counted the credits which you have lost in these days.. after you got hosting.

The credits given for tutorial is fixed ;) I can give you extra points but that will be a bit partial from my end to ignore the others who have posted tutorials...

19 Credits as of now.. If you earn 3 more credits, you can stay OFFLINE for 3 whole weeks :P By this time, you might have realised, how easy it is to obtain credits. Members like M^E have over 700 credits which means, they can be offline for 2 YEARS :-)

Thank You for your understanding and choosing Astahost as your hosting partner and Community.
