I agree. They do have a great search engine and ranking system. I think that is how i found astahost i'm not sure. Its great for last minute searching, you can search for all different features in a range of hosting companies.

Yeah, it's very good, that's how I found some of my previous hosts. However, the results are not always perfect. I've tried using power search and checked some things that Astahost support, but didn't get it on the results list. That's not so good. Astahost is better that all of those I got..

Ohhhh, Free-Webhosts is probably the best Search engine for Web Hosting. I have come across many good Services just because of this .... What's the point of trying to tell AstaHost users about this site? I know that most of the people here must have used it to find AstaHost. I used it to find my way here and this is the only site I need. Why tell the users who already have great services and free site host about the site. Thre's no need to.

(2) well ive been developing a text based multiplayer game and its near completion. its time for me to
start looking at hosting services. so i ran accross this site and i've also heard about it in
the past. what ive heard is that astahost is a good place to host a text based game when u are first
starting out. so what i wonder is does anyone know if safe mode is enabled for the mail() function.

32bit platform. Plently of memory and HD space. Fairly secure. Good seci=urity software and constant
updates, regular checks. I was adding a couple of sites to the HOSTS file - which as you know is
not so straightforward in Vista as it was in XP. I had read that it was a good idea to disable the
DNS client when doing this. I did so. Safari immediately stopped working. It wouldf not open any
site; however at the same time I could get Firefox 3 - my regular browser to work with....
