I can't believe that I narrowly missed the free beta version download, and I am now absolutely and 100% gutted, and hoped that I could possibly find another link which provided a secure and safe way to downlaod Windows Vista for free. I don't want to muck up my computer though, and it needs to be safe and secure, so if you guys have any URL'S feel free to share them with me, no holds barred. I would thoroughly appreciate it if you done that, because then I would be on the same side as all of my mates who are talking about it and its features. The only thing, or free memory that is still available, was Internet Explorer Beta Version 7 I think, which I have told you in another post looked really nice but most things are better compatible with Mozilla Firefox nowadays so I chose that instead. Does anyone also know the approximate start and end date of the free Windows Vista download off the microsoft website, because I can nearly guarentee that it was there for less than a week, which I personally think is out of order. I would appreciate it if you could post the URl here for me and others to sue and see if you know it. Oh, and if you have used that download with first hand experience, I would value that more, rather than some spyware junk that comes from a search engine, no offence because it wouldn't be your fault. Thankyou now I have to go and eat!

I found Windows Vista RC1 as a torrent. That's one of the ways to get it. Microsoft has removed the download from their website. Then to legally use it, if you got a beta 2 key when MS released it, it will still work. [N]F

Yeah, RC1 was released September 1. I did find a download link to it from softpedia, though I didn't test their link. http://www.softpedia.com/get/Others/Miscel...ows-Vista.shtmlWARNING: The download is ~2 GIGABYTES in size so it is highly suggested to use a download manager that can resume downloads incase your internet is interrupted or if you wish to shut your computer down. (When downloading it via torrent, I left my computer on and it was downloaded in about 2 days). If you have a Beta 2 serial key, that will work with RC1. I'm currently running RC1 on my laptop and it is working out great. I can't play DVDs for some reason but other than that, it's excellent. Minor bugs but other than that it's OK. The only thing in Vista I'm really crazy about are the backgrounds. Later, after I've tested for a while, I'll post a review of RC1. [N]F

Windows Vista is the best OS ever. I've tried it believe me. But the only draw back is it is resource hungry. It needs heavy memory. Charge up ur PC with atleast 1 GB Ram. Voila! u have the ultimate vista experience.

I don't really think it is best.. by design, by programming and by integration.. You ever programmed for windows? for Linux? for any other Operating System? Do you even know what an Operating System definition is? If it is best for you, than say it like that, because in my opinion, it is one of the worst OS'es available.. Why the hell it needs so many resources? Have you tried any other OS available? I mean really tried for say 1 year to make some kind of a conclusion? I believe the right question to his statement would be: "Is this a troll... really?" Put a "I believe that, to me-" before his statement and just forget.

Why I May Be Installing Windows Xp Sp3 Again
(10) This is a sad tale of a man and his machine that would not start again. The story continues with a

problems began last weekend when I started my computer after it had been off from the previous
night. Everything went normally throughout the POST but once Windows XP started I heard the dreaded
clicking from the hard drive. After several reboots and a Spinrite diagnostic I gave up and called
the time of death around three in the afternoon. This is not all bad because I had....

100 Reasons To Use Windows Vista
No, really?? (13) Recently, I have received an "Exploring Windows" email from Microsoft, which led me to an
interesting link called 100 Reasons You'll be speechless. Thought it was related to Windows
Vista, and it was. Here are some of my opinions: 1. It makes using your PC a breeze, if Windows is
responding most of the time. Also, many users have complained about User Account Control, which say
that it makes using the PC not a breeze. I haven't tried it yet, but from others' point of
view, it seems to be intrusive and annoying. 2. Your music may be a click away from your re....
Will Using Fdisk Corrupt Windows Partition?
(9) I remember doing this before in the past with a DOS partition. It wasn't working properly, so
the office tech told me to use fdisk and delete that DOS partition. Then recreate it. To my surprise
Windows still worked after that. I always thought that fdisk would corrupt the Windows partition
somehow since it was a destructive partitioning tool. So I have always used Partition Magic instead
for my partitioning needs. If I install Linux on a separate partition and decide to get rid of it
later using fdisk, Windows will still be intact right? From my understanding now,....

How Can I Make Xp User Autologin ?

Can You Create A Folder Name "con"
Is it possible to create a folder named "CON" in Windows? (19) I tried in both Windows XP Home and Professional. If you try to make a folder named "CON" Windows XP
renames it back to what it was. So creating a new folder with the name "CON" just renames it to "New

the folder from a cmd prompt failed with an error "The directory name is invalid.". This also works

Problems Installing Vista

a DVD for me. Since I just installed VMware recently, I wanted to give Vista a try. So far it's
only been giving me headaches. I've been getting all kinds of errors...most likely related to
the amount of disk space I allocated for the install or the memory assigned. Well, I gave it all I
got today. I set VMware to give it 15GB of hard drive space and 512MB of memory. It seems to work.
Got up to the copying files and after a short file it gave me an error code 800....
The Best Version Of Windows
