An interesting thing is that this video was, from some reason, deleted from YouTube - but thanks to shiftdeletenet, it's up again Pure brilliance Also, if I am correct, this is actually some radio show host (or something similar) that has a lot of money, so this "adventure" wasn't a problem for him. I doubt a normal Windows user would do the same thing

lol.. That was mean.. He must have been working at Apple. To shredd, the original disc and the instructions like that.. really it must be a stunt sponsered by M$'s competitors. Vista ain't that bad. When I tried the Beta version, it was absolutely compatible with my system core:- Mother Board: Intel 915GAG Processor: Intel P4 3.0 GHz with HT RAM: 512 MB DDR Although I must mention, the lack of a dedicated Graphics Card didn't allow the true Aero look to surface. But Vista adapted to the thing it was thrown at, pretty well. Most of the applications that passed the OS verification test during setup, ran successfully. Besides, its not like everybody needs to switch over to Vista. I myself wouldn't do that before 2008. All said and done, that video goes to my favorites

Well, I would want to know what kind of hardware he was using to install Windows Vista ;D But, the time, when he was putting the Vista CD into his other machine, was really funny, especially his comments.

After my own difficulties with installing Windows vista (explained in another thread) that video was lovely - I laughed until I cried. It may be that the makers of my computer may get and make available the digitally signed drivers I need to make Vista work on my computer, and they may not. But I cannot say that Vista has, at this point, impressed me in any way but with the realization that Microsoft continues in the tradition of the evil empire that we have all come to know and "love".

I think it's a publicity stunt, and I have not had problems installing Vista on quite a few machines. only a relatively old one took a few trial and errors before it worked, but even that was up and running, no need to install extra drivers, no missing files. Aside from the price, I'm relatively happy with it, and it's definitely an improvement over XP.

That was very entertaining. I would love to get vista, but I doubt my computer would run it well so I will wait until I get my next laptop. Thanks for showing this to me though, very funny.

That is probably the most entertaining video I seen in a while. Vista has so much hype these days. All it offers to me is most a change in the user interface, which is obviously is trying to imitate from apple. Im not a apple fan, I use a pc myself, but with everyone on Vista hype I dont understand why waste money on a new operating system when your old one isnt broke and still have most of the key features needed for your daily life. Vista just offers new spunk and what I heard security, I dont think I will be upgrading my system anytime soon. Maybe later on, when most softwares and such have vista compatablity and where vista is not a defect product as it is now as described from many of the people that I know that has it.

I wouldn't want to move to Vista because it's got too much security. No more loading up bootleg disks on your computer. The OS is just too knowledgeable about the software you install and its legitimacy. Hehe, most teens who have MP3 players would like to agree to stay with XP.

Heh pretty funny, although if that was me and i was annoyed with it i'd just return it and keep the money, then buy it again if an updated version comes out that includes some new drivers so it would have to work. Nice and entertaining video though -HellFire

Im a little confused, the video was deleated but is back up? What is the new url of the video. It sounds real intresting because I agree that the Vista (even though I don't have one) is not very good. I have tried it out a little bit and it seems to have too much graphic things for me. I like it simple not all over the place, even the start menue is hard to use in my opinion. I am thinking about switching from Windows to Apple. I have heard people that use Apple computers love them and think us Windows users are crazy. I know it will take time to get used to the Apple style and the way all the programs are set up (much different then the P.C.) Can someone post an updated link to the video. I like watching pointless commedies. Thanks, Sparkx

QUOTE(brcmville @ Feb 19 2007, 04:00 AM) There seems to be many videos of this type floating around now days. Just yesterday I watched some kids microwave an Apple Ipod Nano. Now today I am seeing Windows Vista get shredded. Come on people! I would love to have that nano and that windows vista disk! There some serious wasting of cash going on and I am almost to tears because of it!. On a less personal note though, windows vista is not bad at all. I do not have it yet but I will soon and thats for sure. I tried it out at a local store and its very nice. My computer, unlike this man's can run it without compatability issues. Tsk tsk to those who will not upgrade because of the security Way to halt our progression to a perfect world. I to actually beleive that vista is good, and it may bog down some low end computers. If you got around 4-8 GB of memory and a decent processor it shouldnt be a problem to run it. I myself am going to be using 4GB ram, a 4200+ AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core Processor, and a Nvidia GeForce 7300 GT 512MB video card. Im hoping anything better then that will run it smooth lol. Eventually i plan on upgrading my video card to a Nvidia GeFore 8800 Ultra 768MB, that is compatible with a PCI-E motherboard.
