Notice the first result right after the sponsor link box and the tip thing, is a strange looking result (at least for me, this is the first time I saw such result). Can anyone explain? |

If by strange result you mean this (the first result listed):  then even I'm wondering WHAT THE HELL is that.. really, I haven't come across something as strange as that ever before.

hmmm .. The screenshot of the website is indeed useful, hope m^e gives away the secret soon  . But the thing about the search result is kinda weird. Its the first of its kind i have seen. Maybe it means Online for X days/ years ? or how many people online ?  ok weird ! .. Btw .. m^e keeps the calculator in his taskbar for instant access .. and the amount of asta windows that are open , NOW i know why some like the tabbed feature of FF .. Regards Dhanesh.

Wow, that's weird. You have to use calculators for coding? My goodness... I like geometry but not algebra. Hmm... anyway, that's some cool stuff. And I have NO IDEA WHATSOEVER about that "Photography. Online: 2" thing. Never seen that before. Like some people said, it could be something Google is working on, but who knows?

Hey guys, I found a page of similar type while searchning for Belgian Languages  This shows something extra added by google in the same big bold black. Seems like some new google feature where in they add some extra relevant information about the keywords you searches. This case is ok - but I wonder what that Online: 2 for that Photography search was for.

Thanks for the heads-up m^e, that extension is a cool little tool. loved it. now i can actually see the preview of sites i visit I did search for alternatives and came up with loads of similar extensions, but with added features. FF Rocks, Google rocks more And about the google function, i think you are pretty right, cause today at college i gave a search for "Internet Explorer IP grabbers" and i got something similar for the first search page. Anyways i think the 2 refers to the pages cached ? Aww aww ... I feel honored .. i see my post on m^e's desktop .. lol , and yeah .. i did d'load that notpad2 proggy, quiet a useful one, i am using that now on. Regards Dhanesh.

its an indexing thing it indexs site and say what information the site gives on that, you have to site your site of to give live infromation on google like that, for example if you sign astahost up with it to index thier site for live stats you could search for "astahost users online" it would say Astahost - Online 15 accourding to astahost.com/index.php or members.php or something like that, google came out with live indexing a while ago, while microsoft is still working at it

Google's slowly trying to creep into AI, is it? No, seriously; there is actually a much more established search engine program for that - it's called BrainBoost. I've talked about it a couple of times on here, but perhaps it hasn't generated much feeback... BrainBoost uses AI to calculate the best possible answer to your question. Sometimes, it may not be THE BEST, but it does a good job nonetheless. Check out www.brainboost.com for more.

Strange Error When Trying To Install Fedora Core 9
(6) Hi all, I tried to install Fedora Core 9 in a VmWare virtual machine under WinXP. I downloaded the
DVD ISO image and proceeded with the installation. When the process was started since about a
minute, the following error did show: "The file evince-2.22.1.1-1.fc9.i386.rpm cannot be opened.

Live Search Webmaster Center
(1) I find that it is very useful in many ways. My site is now included in the listings and if you type
the name of m,y site it's the first link. I've used the yahoo webmaster tools (site
explorer), google webmaster tools and Live search webmaster tools. I think that the Live search one
