Okay, so here is what happened: I started my site using sonic-deck.uni.cc as the domain name,
assuming I shouldn't prefix it with a www. , however this means that mediawiki which I have
installed always goes to sonic-deck.uni.cc and the rest goes to www.sonic-deck.uni.cc, I believe
this can be fixed. I tried rewriterules and redirects but it didn't work. So, could you please
switch my domain to www.sonic-deck.uni.cc server-wise? EDIT: I've fixed the problem with

Hi. I recently purchased a radio for my website, but I'm having problems. I've made a
script to go onto the radio server and get the stats, but it won't work. It just says that it
can't connect. The url for my radio is http://208.100.38.3:10020 . Is there something on
astahost that prevents you connecting to other ports?...

For some reason I can't connect to my FTP server! It was working fine yesterday, but when I
tried to connect a minute ago, it said it could not login. I made a new account, and tried that, and
now it logs in with any account, but the connection resets. I use Windows Explorer as my FTP Client.
Can anyone help?...

Hi, First of all I would like to know that is there anyone who installed movable type on astahost
servers before. May I have any problem about installing the movable type? Is fast cgi module
installed on astahost? I asked this question because movable type's new version can run up to 15
times faster with fast cgi. And finally if my site is hosted on astahost with a subdomain ( like

Hi all, I'm looking into the hosting provided here and was just wondering if the websites will
be on a secure server. E.g. Do they have an URL that starts with 'http s ://' I ask this
because I plan on running CGIProxy and require a Secure Server for it. So, secure? Or not Secure?

Hey guys there seems to be a problem with teh MYSQL service on Gamma..ITs giving a "Too Many
Connections" error message to any request its being given at the moment..also I notice that the
trap17 hosted server seems to have the same errors..is that gamma server too? On the server status
page its listing as the MYSQL service as up and running and ok ..but its not.. I think it needs a
reboot..hopefully this can be sorted soon.. Thanks!!...

Well, I was interested in adding SPF ( Sender Policy Framework ) records for my domain in order to

I have been waiting a couple days and I have not recieved a email From astahost. How do i check to
see if i have been approved or should i wait longer? I dont know how long it takes for them to

I keep trying to connect to http://www.mooreo.astahost.com (my web hosting account) and it says it
can't connect. Just curious if it's down? Can anyone else access it. I deleted the
index.php or .html file, but I haven't uploaded anything to it yet. I have sufficient credits.

Okay site is up and running, figured out how to upload files, manage folders etc. So I tested it out
and uploaded 3 songs and a few random files. One problem... Where can I get the URL? If I right

Until now I have astahost subdomain for my site but now I have registered a paid top level domain
name for myself. Now I want to use that for my site so I go to my CPanel and from there to Parked
