I have bought the game but it doesn't work on my computer. I think my DVD-Rom is kinda messed. I'll have to try again though. Also, can you explain what 'Halo killer' means? I've watched the trailer for Area-51. Wow, it's really fictional - Area-51 is just an outpost in the middle of an American desert. Workers go there and do stuff. Very secretive... I don't think there's an underground base there. No, sir.

While I havn't heard that area 51 was expected to be a halo killer... and I havn't played Area 51... uh... it's not a halo killer. If anything dominates the Xbox FPS fanbase in place of halo/halo 2 it will be big news. Area 51 kind of came and went without much notice

Area-51 won't support multiplayer much and it's one of those story-mode-only games with limited multiplayer. Something similar to Global Operations... I haven't played Area 51 yet, but I have a Halo buddy that has and says that although the game is awesome, it's nothing compared to Halo... I trust him, so I'm sure he's right....

I would say after playing area 51 for the first time today, that it although a good game,does not meet the level of game that halo is. I have only played the game for an hour or so, i found it a good game and can see myself sitting there to complete it. Ican only see myself playing through the once though as it is not that much of an engrossing game like the halo games. Its definately worth buying as its will take a while to complete within a rental time.

There is no possible way that area51 is going to ever be better that the Halo games. Halo is just like mario a world renouned name that everyone knows. Halo will be know for a long time and with the rumor of a Halo 3 coming out Halo will still be on of the best microsoft games ever made. HALO RULES and you cant take that away!!!!!!!

if you look into the game hype, now that area 51 has been out for a while, halo is still going strong... that sucks for area 51.....

There is no way in my opinion that area 51 is a halo beater, the story behind halo is so much more origonal and indepth than area 51. Although area 51 did have its moments (morphing into an alien for example) but it just cannot compeat with halo. look at halo 2 its been out ages and is still the most popular live game out there, that has to tell you somthing about it.

Halo 3 Beta
(12) It's great to have the beta! The graphics and physics are great in the new Halo 3 Beta. The
graphics are NOT the same as Halo 2 as some cows (Ps3 fanboys) have said. Maps are a lot bigger and
expansive. Some guns like the Assault Rifle and the Battle Rifle has been dumbed down so that
it's no longer all guns. However, the game is not glitch-free either. Some glitches include:

(3) If any one is interested, please reply. This is just a little information about modding halo and
halo2, which I think is a great way to extend the lives of the games. Just so you know, I am not
talking about the cheating patches used on Xbox Live Halo1: The modding community has had a lot of
time to work with halo1. Although not many mods have been released for halo1, it remains the easiest
to mod of the 2 halos (at this time). Programmers have dedicated their skill to developing programs
to edit halo1, including one called spark edit, and another called Halo Map Tools....

These are tips for Halo 2. (8) These are some tips I picked up. Some may be old hat, some may be new. I'm not sure who reads
this, so I put some important things I use all the time. 1. Jump punch. Always remember that a
melee in midair does more damage than a melee when you are stationary. 2. Fast melee. To melee
faster than normal: punch, switch weapons, then punch, etc. It punches much faster. You can also
punch, tap x, punch. 3. Block PP shot. To block a plasma pistol shot, dual wield. When a plasma
shot nears you, punch. The shot will hit the gun that you throw away, not you. Prac....

Halo 2 Sniping Help (8) 1. Practice. I know this is soo cliched, but it wont kill you to play a couple of custom sniping
matches on weird places, such as ivory tower, lockout, midship (Oh, God!), Beaver Creek, and any
other small map. 2. Try getting more headshots. 3. Sweep sniping. With a sniper, put your reticule
near your target. Fire, then quickly snap the reticule over the target's head (or body).
Practice it, and try to get it smoothly and faster. Sometimes, you may feel more comfortable
snapping the reticule from right to left and vice versa. It doesn't matter. This will allow ....

Favorite Dual-Wielding combo and why? (17) What's your favorite dual wielding combo and why? Mines have to the Plasma Rifle and the SMG
because you can easily find these two weapons in almost any map and the plasma rifle takes down your
enemies shield quickly and the smg is great for killing after the shield is down. What your's?....

another cel shaded fps... with a twist! (3) I first heard about this game about 2 years ago. That essentially means I have no idea what its
about. Its released later this year. When you look at it, it looks like every other FPS (aside from
the fact it's cel shaded). I just found out some interesting gameplay details, though. In the
game, you follow preset paths with forks you can take by turning. The skill of this game comes from
your quick aiming and taking quick shots at the baddies. I'm not sure how this will turn out. It
could either lead to a ton of cheap shots a la Dragon's Lair, or it could be v....
Halo 1 Lan Gametypes
(2) Hey, I get together with a bunch of friends and we battle it out over a lan playing halo1 alot
(I've tried to upgrade them to halo2, but most don't have xboxs and to change after getting
used to halo1 is too much of a hassle =/) we play alot of ctf, rockets only and slayer/team slayer
stuff. Does anyone have any suggestions for gametypes to play with a group of 6 or more people?
(maps that correspond to the game types'd be good too =D )....

Rumors of Halo 3 coming out soon... (45) For those of you who have played and beaten Halo 2 on Legendary, and watched the credits, have you
noticed that at the end of the credits it says "Coming Feb. 2005" ? My friend and I were disscussing
that maybe this was a hint to a Halo 3 coming out February of next year. (Very soon, I know)...If
you have beaten Halo 2, you would know that there is a horrible cliffhanger at the end of it. Halo 3
is supposedly not going to intuduce any new weapons or multiplayer maps, but it will have the rest
