Yamicsoft WinXP Manager? lol i realy thouth you are going to give a nice one this thing is sux my frind use it on his comp and well, since he installed it(3 weeks ago), he reinstalled his XP 5 times and still dont want to delete it for some stupid reson
I prefer Tune up utilities it is really good.I always trust applications from reputed developers. ex: If something i from sysinternals i will not even think just hit the install button
I prefer manual. All those fancy crap programs only screw up windows, they do things you don't want them to do and most of the tweaks they have don't offer a real performance boost.

Man don't do any registry scans...I think that is where these programs are not really capable of. Everything else works fine for me..

I agree with you. When I was a beginner still to the Windows operating systems, I used tweakui and the ones that were known as good tweak applications. I believe now that it is better to tweak the operating system by yourself -- manually. See msfn.org to learn about windows customizing and all. It's a great place to learn; there's still a lot that I don't know.. haha
I prefer just cleaning out temp files and stuff using CCleaner. I don't do much customization and tweaking in Windows. I've actually never heard of this software before by others, so I don't know if I can trust it.
In one of the Microsoft newsletters that I occasionally receive, they introduced a new software
called Windows SteadyState. Its primary use is for Internet cafes as well as libraries to ensure
that their computers aren't tampered with by skilled computer people by restricting access to
certain critical system functions (control panel, etc). This keeps the machines running at a "steady
state". However, home users can also benefit from using Windows SteadyState. It is excellent for
parents of kids who know much about computers (like me) and are able to damage things. ....
We're using Norton Ghost 2003 in the office to create Windows images for the Dell laptops we
have. One problem I encountered is trying to copy the CDs. I think the office used Nero, CloneCD and
other major CD cloning/copying software, but none worked. Nero 7 gave a unreadable data error when
we tried to copy it. The 2 CD set image is a good copy. We tried loading it into another similar
Dell laptop and it worked without any errors. But now we need to duplicate these images for all the
techs. Any idea on how to create extra copies of this image without having to do ....
I had been lately looking to find some text formatting tools, especially to convert the gutenberg
etexts into printable matter, the major problem was the word wrap, that caused the a line return to
be inserted after 'n' columns. for example "hello I am so and so from so and so.com please
welcome our guest so and so who is a so and so blah blah blah. this is to inform you that so and so
also has a so and so blah blah blah" would appear as "hello I am so and so from so and so.com
please welcome our guest so and so who is a so and so blah blah blah. this is to....
