This is something I did in my free time for a star war RPG me and my friends play. It is basically a logo for our group with a couple insignias signifying the rebel alliance. |

I have some couple other friends in my Star Wars 'ring' that play Star Wars pen and paper role playing games with me... actually, our school teacher (US history teacher) does the game master part and we're just the players. We have this own "band of Rebels" that kinda put together this group but it's kinda breaking apart because we don't really want to work for the Rebels anymore. Long story - we just get tired and don't get rewarded much... too much work, like sabotaging Star Destroyers and saving planets from certain destruction. Anyway, Blaster Blade is going to go down the drain... I think... and some other raid group will come up for us  Now for you non-Star Wars people out there, just discard this post. Haha

That was done in photoshop correct? You should make the blade glow and the text color stand out, the backround should be space. That would make a great splash image for a webpage. Keep up the good work

Agreed with warallthem about the blade glowing bit. You could probably make the gun glow as well, as currently the picture is slightly on the dull side. Something standing out from the grayness would be good. I like the blade and gun though, they're nicely done.  The symbol at the bottom could probably also be made to stand out--its also rather unnoticeable at the moment.

That's an interesting version, Dhanesh. Usually pink and blue don't go together, but you seemed to make them mesh together really well. And of course, the blade and gun are nicely emphasized--sticks outta the blue. I also like your new font, especially the one you used to write "Blaster Blade". That particular font seems to suit the situation better. The partially opaque white layer that covers the blue background is nice--now it seems in the making for an enter page splash image.

Do not oversize layers, because they will get that jaggy edges, and when you oversize them that's really ugly later... Try some different rezize methods to get best results, for example, you will not get the sam result with "bicubic" or "nearest neighbor" rezising method. If you use Photoshop you will find under edit -> preferences -> general, under "image interpolation" box...

Guild Wars Vs Wow
Looking for players who have played both (23) I just cancelled My WOW account after a nice 2 year run. (Have been playing since Friends and Family
beta) Reason for cancelling: Pretty much cleaning up my finances of what I need vs what I want. And
I was not playing it much at all anymore. If wow had'nt delyaed the expansion from spring this

Star Wars:jedi Academy
(1) Well, as soon as I get the new computer (or "revamped" computer) I can play this game, who has it, I
think its a really awesome game, friggin beautiful. Oh and if you didnt know, you can get heaps of
good mods for the game. They're at Massassi, really good mods, and if you still have the good
old Dark Forces 2 (I know what you're thinking and its not like that), your in for a treat,

formula-like phrase "ele/N1" actually represents your character profession and level -

Just released (6) Sun have announced the release of Star Office #8. ALthough not freeware, it is a damn sight
cheaper ($60 -$100 AUS) than Microsft, and a bit better than it's freeware competitor Open

Guild Wars Not The Average Mmorpg
(13) Wow. When I first played Guild Wars it seemed pretty cool. But after going through the entire game
and reaching max level within a week, I didn't know what to do. Most MMORPGs take a long time to
reach the max level and most people never even reach it, but in this new type of MMO you reach it
right away. Arenanet is focusing on the PvP aspect of guild wars, and guild warfare. Lots of people
are complaining about the lack of roleplay involved, but Arenanet just keeps telling them this
isn't a game that focuses on roleplaying, it is a game that focuses on PvP and c....

3 turn off in the anouncement, the prototype looked like the orginal paystation 2 but given it loads

like cd cases on your playstation anymore.. lol they just fall off! hm.. i wonder how they would

excited about this game. I participated in the Alpha during E3 in May (Electronic Entertainment
Expo), and it was great then. I also took part in the World Preview Event in October, and I plan on
taking part in the Beta Event on January 7. So far I have had a great time. What does everybody else
