hi asta, looking good with a lot of features.. the skin seem to be very easy customizing and good arrangement but it lost a little exposure of being professional way just my opion.. and i wanna request a forum for "Mac OS Dummies" under "how to.. and tutorial" section, pls.. so that all Mac users can share Mac OS dummies each other..
thks
well, this one could be a littel much better than eariler theme... but still need to prictise my eye to famililar with this skin
Well, after having been a member of a number of different free hosting companies (as well as an
admin on one, and a support person on another), I have found a number of things. First of all, the
way that astahost does the request process, isn't as professional as some of the other hosting
companies. For example, the hosting company I had before astahost, used to use something called the
HCP ( http://thehcp.net/ ). Account creation, upgrades, and requests were done through this, and
it worked really well. It seems a lot more professional that the traditional hostin...
I was just wondering if this was feasible after what Mark420 or someone mentioned in one of the
threads around here. Each of the forum section would have a Wiki, which would have eventually
contain a good summing up of all that happens in the forums. Once members participate in a thread,
solve a problem, discuss, or come up with something, we could put that info in the Wiki of that
section almost summing up and polishing all the information the thread had gained. That way, some
one wanting to search the knowledge base would really find it easy to get what they need. ...
Hey admins! This is really irritating me. Whenever I scroll thru this forum, no matter what brower:
Opera, Internet Explorer, Mozilla, Konqueror. It lags badly. Trap17 doesn't have this problem.
I think the cause of this is because your skin lags machines. System specs (simplified) Pentium 4

Here is what I suggest: Have a section for Work Requests. Here people can ask for something to be
done, in return for Hosting credits. I know by now that Hosting Credits are of real value, and I
would love to trade using them for getting some work done that requires talents or resources that I
do not have. So, someone requests for a work to be done. Someone else does the work and the
person who requested, pays him/her with Hosting Credits. Requests could range from, graphic
requests, sig requests, write-ups, and such things. That would mean someone would have to ...
This is mainly a question to the admins, but if members post it might attract their attention and
encourage them consider it. Do we have to use IPB? What would be wrong with using a different forum
system? I would suggest SMF, and you could run it on a test basis and there is a converter for it,
so all the posts and members etc. would be kept. I'd be happy to help with the conversion
process, so if the admins want any help, please PM or email me. Thanks for considering this.

My question is not really that, actually what i am trying to ask is that it obviously costs money to
have all the servers, bandwidth, software and staff (maybe if they get paid, i dont know?), who pays
for it al?? why do they want to ? I think its great that they do cos we can have a forum, free help,
hosting and stuff, but i wouldnt want to be the ones providing the service!! Imagine all the
questions and problems you get!! Do the few small ads on this site pay for it all? Is the profit
in the long run through advertising when you have 10s of thousands of visitors? t...
To the Admins I was wondering what you guys think of possibly hosting an art sub-forum. It seems
that there are at least a few people here who might be interested in this. Basically, it'd exist
separately from the graphic design forum and would be focused more on art for art's sake rather
than a pure design aspect that would be for a more practical use. It would be a good way for the
artists here to share their work, gain some exposure and receive feedback from their peers. I was
thinking that it could be split into two sections, a discussion section and a gall...
I'm looking at the forum categories and I can't see a software category. Could you perhaps
make a software category or maybe combine it with operating systems and make it a software and
operating systems category. Or you could make operating systems a subforum of the software
category. Also I was wondering if you could change the title of Networking to Internet and
Networking so that way we can get a little bit more posts there....
Hashbang and I think it would be a good idea to add a religion/philosophy section to General
Discussion. Hashbang, if you will now please second the motion:...
What kind of features you think a good forum should have? Please tell me what you think. I'm
making a collection with links and reviews of the best forums on the web and I need to know.
