I've hit a problem and wondered if anyone can help.
I have a site from which I want to take customers credit card details, email me with the details of the order then store the details online until I can log in and delete them. The processing will not be done by me so I have no need for a merchant account.
So far, I know I have to buy an SSL certificate.
I have no idea how to make the site go from http to https.
I can make a form.
I know nothing about perl.
I know php on the basic level.
So be honest - is this something which a n00b like me is going to have much success at or am I going to have to bite the bullet and pay someone else to implement this for me?
I suppose what I would like would be for someone to do this for me but also show me how to do it so that I can do it myself for the other dozen sites I have to build over the next year.

Ok did you make the site yourself? You could look for shopping cart modules these could be written in different languages from Java to Php.. Then you could just bolt on whats needed to the existing site.. Im playing with Joomla a lot at the moment which is a content management and page design tool. JoomlaIt has all manner of secure shopping cart modules free to use- I use one called virtuemartIts very easy to manage right out of the box..go take a look at the demos for it.. Ive got plans to use this module a lot in the next few pages I am making for clients.. Good luck with your carting

watch out for that lock switch (12) About a year ago I bought a pocket drive that you put a memory card into and then plug into a usb
port. I bought a 1gb Sandisk memory card to put into the thing. It was really cool I could put the
memory card into my camera and took pictures on it and at the same time use it as a flash drive to
store other computer files. Everything was going fine until one day I plugged it into my pocket
drive and tried to put a text file onto the card to give to a friend. A message came up "Access
denied due to write protection". I thought "when did I put write protection on this....

Vmware On 946intel Board Problem
sound card not recognized (6) I installed VMware on my desktop, which has a 946GZIS motherboard with a Sigmatel Audio Controller.
It runs fine as a normal system, but in VMware it won't register the sound card. In system
hardware, it's just got the yellow question mark and says the drivers are not installed. But
i've tried installing it off the Intel CD, plus i've downloaded the drivers from Intel as
well, but they just install and want to reboot the computer, but don't seem to have any effect.....
Having Network Card Issues On A Dual Boot Laptop
(4) I have just installed a dual boot setup with Windows XP Professional SP2 and Ubuntu 7.04 on a DELL
Inspiron 1501. While I did the installation no cable was plugged into the NIC. After plugging a
network cable into the NIC I'm having the problem that Ubuntu recognizes and can work with the
NIC without any problems, but in Windows XP I can't get the LAN connection to show up in Network
Connections. So I have therefore narrowed down the problem as not being on the hardware side. I

Help! Pc Not Detecting Video Card
