Hello everyone! I am posting regarding Dreamweaver extensions... I have been using the Flash Image Viewer, the default viewer of Dreamweaver, and I would LOVE to have a change of pace. I don't really do too much with Flash at the moment... I would also like to play around with Flash and applications a lot more in the future. I just don't see it being too near. I have looked around many professional sites, and have seen many different types. I have seen images that place previous, play/pause, and next buttons on corners of the panel... and they loop at pretty decent increments. Plus, I like how the buttons are on the actual image, not above, below, etc. and it doesn't add extra borders and whatnot. I am just wondering if anyone has anything different that they can recommend. I think a lot out there are to be bought... it is totally understandable... It's just unfortunate that I cannot put any funds to my site venture right now... it is strictly cheap and fun... So I enjoy trying new things, and I would love to be able to have a looping viewer that can save space and can give the Flash Image Viewer a good run for the money, and not go too far out there as far as it's structure is concerned. I hope this post makes some sense, and if there is any more information I can bring up... please let me know! (I am sitting and crossing my fingers on this one... would LOVE to find a suitable replacement... or one that will work along side viewer) Thank you all! - bob AKA skedad -

Well, this was quite an interesting addition... even though I was inquiring about an add-on to Dreamweaver. Sorry if my posting was misleading. Actually, I kind of like the player, though! It is a nice little change compared to embedded media players that only play. I am interested in the plugin, or the extension for Dreamweaver. It is a flash element that is used in creating web design. It is odd that it is called a viewer, when it should be like flash image creator or something to that extent. So again, I apologize, but also thank because now I have a new player, even though I am still on the search for a viewer... (How silly did that last line sound) Thanks - skedad -

Stage.scalemode
When my image scale down my stage doesn't follow. How to make it w (1) Well I have made a movie where the intro is an image (812 x 458). When it reaches around frame 20
(after all the motion and tweening) I scaled down the image (541 x 305) and other effects will take
place around this size only. The problem I'm facing is that the stage doesn't scale down or

irritating gaps in spliced image (8) Here is a link to one of the pages i am designing for my parents business website. all the other
pages - except the main page - are just imagemaps. this page and the main are spliced images - the
main contains a iframe blog - but in this one in xp/ ie and firefox/ all the images are pulled apart
the idea for the page is that the user mouse-over's the cartons and the blank box of grass in
the bottom has the details of the product printed in it. i am totally able to git rid of the

got a little question about loading the flash movie on the website. In fact I made my website and
have inserted some flash movies on the main page. My flash movies are about 80KB. And while the
movie is loading it is white, but my website's background colour is black. So the question
would be: Is it possible to keep the movie BLACK while it's loading to the webpage, without

Flash Pic Problems

I seem to be having with flash?? I know this is probably some stupid little setting somewhere I have
to tweak but I can't find it. I'm trying to put a picture into flash on the canvas. I have a
seperate layer for it. Nothing else is on the layer. Properties for the picture is set at 100 %
quality. My publish settings are set at 100% quality for Jpegs and I've tried every setting I
can find but the picture keeps displaying at a low resolution when I preview my m....

How do I get rid of borders?? (10) Hey if any of you HTML wizzes out there could help me - I would greatly appreciate it. I am
designing some web site stuff with flash only. I know I know I should be using dreamweaver or
something else in addition - which I don't have access to on my computer here at work. When I
publish my files I can't get rid of the border around my swf file when I view it in a browser.

Flash Buttons.. Please Help!
getting flash buttons to open in frame (3) Hello, I am looking for some help with some flash buttons I made in flash mx 2004. I had made
these link buttons for a livegate.net site I had going, until they shut down, and now I can not get
the buttons to open in the desired main frame. I reopened the flash file and redirected the urls
to an angeltowns.com and a freewebs.com site, and neither of them would open up in the main frame,
they popped up in new windows. Is it possible that these sites won't allow it open, or is it
something I am doing wrong? I am allowed to open it _self, _parent, _blank and _top, b....
How To Display Clear Image On Web Site
(4) I uesed "image ready" to creat an animated gif and put it into my web site design. The problem is
when I pre-browse from image ready, the images effect is very good, the color is fresh and the
displaying is clear, but when I put it into the webpage and browse it from IE(Safari), the images
showing faded and non-clear enough. The resolution of those images I used in animated gif is 72.

Image operation via MySql database
(1) The starter hosting at astahost.com supports only 20M space for the pages. But thanks OpaQue, the
MySql database space is not limited. These days, I conducted an evaluation using MySql database to
operate the image. First, create the database and table(which I had already introduce at the

(1) Hi everyone, I have a problem. I have two images, and one has the 3px IE bug. Turning this to a
block level element fixes it but then an image to the right disapears. Another fix I have tried is
