| | I was wondering, you know those Russian MP3 sites you hear about, right? the ones where they offer like a whole album for 3 cents? I was wondering, how can they do that? Did they make some cheap deal or something? Or is it even legal at all (in the US)? If it is legal, anyone know any of these sites? |

I am amazed at how much russian I have picked up from russian MP3 sites and other forums. At first i just had firefox translate them all but eventually i just started actually learning the words. I somehow managed to learn some russian because it was the more lazy thing to do.

Recently a court in Britain ruled them to be legal as well (I think I heard that on ITV news or something), so it can only be a good thing. My guess is that they do pay royalties but because they are in Russia the amount is much less.

Hmm, I still can't believe that you can buy a whole album for just a 3c. in mp3? more money you spend on internet connection while you download that mp3... Doesn't make any sense...

Youtube's Flv Player - Technical And Legal Issues
(1) Can I use YouTube's FLV player on my site in combination with a FLV video that isn't stored
on YouTube? Are there any legal implications when doing that? Has anyone done this before and can
share their experience? I personally couldn't figure out by viewing the page source where the

To what extent is it legal? (15) I will soon be adding a message board to my web site, which deals with several British bands.
Because of that, I would also like to have a "Multimedia" area on my forums, where members would be
able to share download links - of course, nothing would be hosted on my server. However, that's

(winamp's). I could really get asta rolling. Atm i have 20 trial Djs who are in different
