Current Xbox 360 Release Date: Official release dates are Tuesday, November 22nd for North America, Friday, December 2 in Europe, and Saturday, December 10 in Japan.

much anticipated games! there are so many games im looking forward too! quake4, halo3, final fantasyXI! these are amazing but is xbox 360 really worth it??? or should we wait till the best console (nintendo revolution) releases in july

Are you sure the Nintendo Revolution is any better than the Xbox 360? I've tried almost all of the Nintendo consoles and all the PSs' around(Of course, not PS3 yet). I only tried xbox a little later because PS had more racing games which is one of my most fave arcade games. I later started playing Xbox because of Halo but fps style games aren't my type so i bought a few adventure/role-playing games and i found it pretty fun with so much more buttons than the PS.

For Nintendo, I absolutely cannot tolerate its gamecube console controller. It looks like a lousy imitation of an xbox controller and it just doesn't feel right in my hands, so does all the rest of the nintendo consoles. I can't say the Gameboy wasn't remarkable because it was and the following Gameboy "sagas" were great too but overall, the xbox really achieved my attention because of its unique style and play scheme.

...AND Super smash bros gets boring after awhile...

I'm NOT going to buy a 360 or any other next-gen console. And that's because, it's just becoming more expensive every time. I don't know how it is in dollars, but i know the games first costed €60 will now cost €70 (not all of them of course). I think that's just too much...If I would win the lotto or something, I would definitely buy one, but really, don't you guys think it's becoming to expensive these days?

im positive revolution will be better then xbox 360, maybe not ps3 in gfx but overall yes, and the gamecube is alot better then you think if you havnt tried resident evil4 and the soon coming zelda:twilight princess then you need to because these are the only games that can really show you what gc is capable of, to bad nintendo save the good games for last sad.gif

and the gc controller has nothing to do with the microsoft controller, if anything it tried to imitate playstations controller, xbox's controller is bs and no1 would want to imitate such a bad controller....and the xbox was just to big for my liking, its huge! compared to the gamecube and ps2

plus its not very durable, unlike the gamecube (which might i add i use as a basketball) nintendo products are very durable, ive droped my ds like 28 times now and i broke its lcd when i droped it the last time but my warrenty was good and i got a brand new one, but still 28 times is an amazing amount of times to drop it before it broke...i think both ps3 and xbox have there ups but nintendo is going to be the best console overall

there is supposed to be 2 versions of the xbox360 one will release at 399 and the other at 499, or is it 299 and 399?? its either of those 2

Yuck. I'm only interested in a couple of the titles on that list - and only because I've played earlier versions on current-gen. consoles. (Tony Hawk on GameCube, for example.) It's not worth buying a new system to get the next release ... especially when the game prices seem to be about 10 bucks higher each than the last generation's new titles when they were first released.

I'm thinking that this new line of consoles is going to be a major rip-off.

    and you can download them completely, I know many of you knew about 2 or 3 but there's more
    there. The thing that I liked is that people posted in comments about more games that are free like

    Yahoo News Article on Blind Teen who beats sighted opponents without any help. This is
    incredible. To be blind and play music, I could understand. To play some of these complicated games
    against an opponent and win, without help, is fantastic. I have trouble winning with my two good

    Microsoft plans to show the public its Xbox 2 on MTV on the 12th of march, 4 days before the PS3.
    Originally both were planned for the 16th but it seems mircrosoft wants to get in there first.
    Microsoft VP Peter Moore dimissed E3 as a trade only event telling us that he wants the whole public
    to know! The half an hour special will be hosted by the great Frodo (Elijah Wood) but expect alot
    of sports / movie / music celebraties to pop up to boast some of the machines capabilities.
    Microsoft are expected to announce an autumn 2005 shipping date to get ahead of the chris....

    Finally, the Sony PSP release has come to USA. I'm going to a gaming party tonight at GameStop
    untill midnight when the Sony PSP will be released, only one million copies in the USA for now (
    lucky I reserved one ). I guarentee you that if you don't get one now, it will be a long wait
    before you get another one. The price is 250$ but trust me it's worth it. Good things about
    Sony PSP: 1. Not only can you play games, the quality of the PSP is almost identical to playing on a
    PS2. 2. The Sony PSP is also an Mp3 Player, why go buy an Ipod when you can have this....
