Getting My Wireless Network Adapter Working On Linux
(2) Well, I recently decided to switch over all my PC's to linux, and was stumped when I tried to
convert one of my laptops. It has a Dell Wireless 1370 wireless networking mini-pci card, based on a
broadcom chip. I tried to find a driver on the internet, to no avail. I found NDISWrapper, but
despite my knowledge of how to set up a web server on linux, I couldn't work out how to use it.

Hosting Not Working For Some Reason?

Get variables not working (11) I have this really urgent problem with $_GET variables. They aren't working properly, and
my site's pretty much based around them. Take this example from my Personal Messenger system.
index.php?p=messenger&action=compose This should take you to the compose message page of the
messenger, but it doesn't. It recognises the '?p=messenger' bit, and takes you to the
messenger page, but it completely ignores the '&action=compose' bit. For some reason, it

Not Working Again
(8) I went through hosting issues recently. And now I'm having them again. A few weeks ago my
hosting account stopped working (industry-online.com) even though my credits had never dipped below
10. It took several days, but finally the problem was corrected except for email. That took about
another 4-5 days to get that working. A couple of days ago it stopped working again. No site, and
no email. I have already replied via email to the person who corrected the problem in the first

Dvd Decoders Not Working Properly
(5) Firstly, I am using Windows 200 OS and am trying to play a DVD movie using Win2K compatible dvd
decoders. I've tried the following: VLC media player DivX (crashes) Media Player Classic
The problem is that although it displays the video, the picture is very dark and colorless. It's
not even viewable. What's the problem here? Is it the cable connection inside the tower? Is it

Asp With Astahost
How do you get it working? (8) I am having trouble getting ASP to work on Astahost. I don't see any configuration and/or
options about in cPanel and I don't know how to get it working. I tried copying an example from
the W3Schools and uploading it to the server but it does thought it was a text/plain (Plain Text)
file and just displayed the code instead of processing it. I'm not having any trouble with PHP,
so I know that is working correctly. My example worked on the Windows 98 PWS 'practice'
server so it should work on the real server. Can I get some help on how to enable it p....

Help, My Laptop Charger Is Not Working Properly
(17) I have a HP Pavilion laptop. I bought it about 2-3 years ago. I try to plug in the charger end to
my laptop and it does not start charging. I can take the back off of it, plug the charger in, and
it works fine. I think that something is pushing back (in the laptop) and causing the connections
not to touch. I would fix it myself, but I would have to take a lot of my laptop apart just to fix

ATI Radeon 9250 Issues
I've been working on it for weeks now... (8) I recently bought an ATI Radeon 9250 256mb, my computer comes with an nVIDA nforce chipset (Driver:
nVIDA Geforce 2 Integrated GPU, VGA compatible). It worked great at first but later i started having
problems. Logan (Deathbringer) helped me get it working again...sortof. What he told me to do was to
uninstall the previous nVIDA drivers and use a driver cleaner to erase everything the uninstaller
did not. It made sense, then i was to put the Radeon card in, start in safe mode and uninstall the
Radeon drivers and clean off all the ATI drivers using the DC again. I restart....
Lots Of Games Not Working - DirectX Issue?
(8) Hi, for some reason a lot of my games are not working. I installed Prison Tycoon and after it's
done, I click on the Run button from the game. It gave me a message "direct3d renderer creation
error". If I click OK it will go to the main menu where I could click play button...then it gives me
a Windows crash message (do you want to send to Microsoft, etc....). The game then exits. This
seems to be a common problem since the first result I got from Google was on this game. I
