Eh... Depends on where you're putting it... If it's going to stand by itself like a banner, it's kinda plain... And what does DWA mean? You should include that... (if it's standing by itself)

The funny thing is that the most famous logos don't have the most techincal graphics in them. Think of Mars Bar - red whiting with a gold outline on a black surface. Coca Cola - White joined up writing on a red background. McDonalds - A large yellow M on a red background... Make something unique especially if it is going to stand on it's own, but don't necessarily go over board. A good text logo is one where if you changed the text in it but kept the style, people would still recognise.

nice logo, I'm working on text images at the moment, but I can't think of much to do. I'll create a thread and upload what I have done though, so other people can rate it. P.S. Not sure what file type it is, but the quality of the green background doesnt look to good.

yea...everything looks a bit blurry. Perhaps it is the optimized settings you chose? If not, I think you should ease up on the blurring lol ^_^

I perosonally don't like it, it just seems that the gren letters on a green background looks too bright, and whit is DWA? Dorks With Attitude (I resemble that one...  ), Defenders What Agree, Dude Who Are_you, Hey, I ran out of nifty Nick Names.... Is it a clan name for a online game, is it your site name... All of these questions come up when I look at that graphic, If you can answer as many questions with as simple a graphic as possible, you are good to go. All in all I rate it about 4 out of 10. -William

apart for the blurryness (sp?) it loosk great, i have a tendancy to overcrowd pictures but i like the way you've magane to keep the image simple and neat while at the same time displaying uses of higher level graphical images.

To me, the logo looks a bit plain and does not stand out much. The main part of the logo, i.e. the text 'DWA', needs to be different colour to the background in order for it to stand out. Also, you should aim to keep the image sharp and not blurry to make it look more interesting.

Ok, rules for a good logo design: 1) It should be readable! Here, i can hardly spell out the letters! 2) It should work on many backgrounds, especially dark and white! 3) Try to print it and tell us if it's nice, then make a copy of it, and you'll see that it must be sharper. We usually work with vectors for logos, because of its contrast. Keep on working!

Keep attention on how you eyes reaction at the first Look. Anyway, the diagrammatic of DWA looks very good, like a sports mark. Now keep attention on the "D", does not have the same bright effect as "WA", it seems like a composition. Again, this logo does not talk by its self without a context. Blessings!

nice logo have u thought of maybe puting a contrasting shadow in there if u get the position right u could give the elusion it is in the air which could look quite nice

Logo Trouble
Image just shows an "x" (5) I am trying to put a simple logo on my page, nothing to shout about. I saved the image in my images
folder in the cpanel. So when I was doing my HTML, I simply put this: CODE

My Own Car Design Done With 3DS Max Rate It!

Need Help In Blending In The Old Asta Logo
(12) Hey guys - remember the Ambience Skin we had for Asta for a good while? That had a real sexy and
slick Logo.. That skins isn't supported anymore - while you can still select it using the skin
selector at the bottom of the page, the skin hasn't been updated properly and hence it's
going to work only for the front forum page. For every other page, it'll produce some fatal
error and give out. Anyway, my point is - can any of your graphics gurus, make that old logo blend
into the IPB default skin here - so we can get rid of this cheap-ass logo and replace it....

rate the logos! (20) hai this is the first time im trying my hand in photoshop and i created logo designs 4 my 2 new
sites. i enjoyed the challenge of bringing out what i conceived , with whatever li'l photoshop
skills i had. i animated the first image in gif format using gif creator , with images created in
photoshop. the big challenge for me was creating the 'net' as i wanted using photoshop for
the second image. im sure its no big deal for those who know ps well as i suppose there would be
some specific tool to easily create the 'net' straight away. posting them ....

My Website Banner/ Logo
What Do You Think? (17) well,i was toying around in photoshop, tryin to come up with banner for my new site and i came up
with this. i used a chrome layer style on top of a red textured layer, then used the eraser to make
the bulletholes around the name, as well as the X. used the type mask to create the name and then
just deleted so the bottom red layer showed thorugh. used low opacity brush to make the blood. i
like it. the site is pretty much black, shades of gray, and red. crits? -----I switched
