Hi... when I started off with PHP.. right up to the present, I've found it a lot easier to go from prewritten scripts which I then study and configure when I need to, to come up with what I require... There are a whole bunch of sites out there that allow you to do this... one of the best I've founf so far is: php.resourceindex.comI actually started using the resources there when I was only doing HTML and using a whole lot of JavaScript... then I noticed that Javascript is interpreted by different machines differently... so I looked out for an alternative to HTML that would offer me greater interaction.. so I did some research.. and came up with PHP and ASP... looking out a bit more.. there seemed to be a whole lot more free PHP hosts than ASP... so I dived right into PHP.. well I haven't really dived in much.. but as a hobby I've spent a good deal of time getting my logic and understanding in place... a few other resource sites you may look at are: http://www.free-php.net/http://www.phpjunkyard.com/http://www.scriptdownloads.com/http://www.hotscripts.com/ ( This one's good)All the best with PHP... you'll find it very functional, modular (you can create scripts that you just need to plug in where you need it) Rashid Ahmed

Also, you say you want images "at it"....did you mean in it? If so, then what you're looking for isn't with PHP, per se, but more along the lines of an image map, where you have a graphic with links to different things, that those links could be to PHP pages, but you don't necessarily need PHP to do it....or were you trying to say something else?

If you are knew to programming in general and dont know a lot of code, I know macromedia fireworks does this for you, with almost no effort at all...and I'm pretty sure photoshop does too...can anyone confirm that photoshop does this? I dont use it much, sorry. But if you are new to coding, I would advice you to take the fireworks or photoshop rout. Its 10x easier, and the menus look pretty good.

Help With Menu Using CSS

Help Needed With Html, Css And Frames
I haven't coded in years! (10) Okay, the last time I actually coded something it was basic html. I lived of frames and I thought
that my websites were the best thing on the internet. But just because I had mastered enough to make

Netscapenav Display Problem << Guru Help Needed
Homepage won't display with Netscape (2) Hi all, Heres the latest in the browser display problems. Updated my homepage via ftp. -(deleted the
old home page in the "www" & "public_html" folders & the ROOT directory "_sgt" & "_sgg"
folders..before ftp'ing the update). Verrified that all new homepage updates had the correct
"last modified" date (ie. the server was showing the newest version I just updated in all file
folders which were previously deleted). Homepage uses HTML with CSS & tables only- no php or

Rollover Menu Problems
After visited, hover doesn't work! (2) Here's my problem: I have a simple rollover menu, where the links light up whenever your mouse
is over one of them. It works fine. In the simplest sense, I used this CSS code: (in .css file)
a:link, a:visited {color:#000000} a:hover {color:#FF0000} This works! Yay! Okay. But when
I click on any of the links (it is therefore considered "visited"), the hover function doesn't
work anymore. The link becomes static (hover does not work anymore). And yes, I want my unvisited
and visited links to be the same color. Question: How do I get the hover functi....

(1) Hi, Im trying to find out how to fade in scaled down images when the user holds the mouse over the
image. The image will be linking to the original image in a popup window that fits the size of the
image, if that makes any difference. also i dont want the image to be totaly faded out before the

All Images Don't Show Up When Published!

folder and it's my first attempt on using CSS so it may be botched on the css level /wink.gif'

created a index.html file and uploaded it together with all the images used. In the #header part 1
image show up but not the other (second image show not the first). Background image does not show ....
