hi fellas,

as most orkutters know that u cant scrap ur whole friend list in one go. i cant keep my friends up to date with myself (since they dun know whats a blog) so i have to scrap them all individually. having 100+ friends i decided to use an autoscrapper and came across Scrapboy.

bugged up with Scrapboy's bulky interface and huge download size, i decided to code my own auto scrapper for Orkut.com If you don't know what it is, hit the following link

its around 570Kb in download and is extremely light on resources. A simple winzip extractor is even smaller and is available through this link:

Hey, Captain Ron,
Please tell me on what base have you constructed that 'software', because I believe that it is not possible to integrate in to the ASPX script of Orkut directly. Likewise, are you affiliated with Orkut™ in any manner? If not, I think you'd need a disclaimer here!

Don't use the direct link to the EXE file. Astahost TOC does not allow direct links outside this domain, and they might have blocked it!

Or simply put, you can try finding the IP of that domain and putting it there...

hey guys there is no such rule that you can't integrate with aspx or anything.

firstly i am not hiding anything from the users, the explorer window is viewable to all users.

secondly there is no aspx issue

thirdly, its simple script that performs what else a user wud do. that means write a scrap and click the scrap button! thats not illegal by any means i suppose.

anyhow... i guess mauh might have accessed the file when astahost was having a downtime.

Please noooooooooooo!

Auto-scrappers keep flooding my scrapbook every week, if not every day!
This is the kind of tool that in the right hands is really useful, but otherwise... viva la spam!

But seriously people... think like twice... or better, think twice two times, before using this kind of (EVIL) (SPAM) tool.

Orkut recently changed the codes for avoiding spam!
So many of the old scrapping softwares wont work!

I got another software named Orkut Cute
Download it from here (Latest Version 7.5)
Its a freeware software and you can scrap to all your friends, in one click,
and create same topic in all your communities, you can receive new scraps immediately,
notifier is there for new scraps and new online friends!
And you ca even format the messages with a build in scrap editor!
Its rocking friends!

Hii Orkut recently changed its codes so I guess all the previous scrappers would not work.
You can get the latest written in PERL from my blog :

Its a PERL script so you may need Active Perl already installed on your system with a few additional modules.

First of all thank you CaptainRon for letting me know about Orkut. Second I tried to visit Captain's website but I had no chance of connecting it. for your information I am now at Turkey. and third I am very happy to learn that Orkut is a service created by a Turkish Programmer who is working at Google... You cannot create this scrap.

Recently am facing this probs to a particular friend when I try to scrap. I get scrap frm my friend but am not able to send any scrap. I also deleted the person and try to add once again but not able to add also pls suggest & do the needfull
