Previously, Opera had offered two versions of the product, a paid version and one that was free but included in-place advertisements. The re-release of Opera 8.5 signifies an end to that strategy. Now, the company will offer only one free version with no ads. Enjoy surfin.... Lol Bhavik Vora

This is good news, as in my humble opinion, Opera is by far the best browser out there. Pity that we who paid for it don't get our money refunded though!

thats part of their 10th anniversary gimmick. they are trying to win a larger share of the browser market, and probably take over firefox, haha! i am using opera 8.5 now and i like its speed but its features are somewhat overloaded, very hard for beginners to learn...

I finally let go of Firefox last night as it became a pain to use (kept crashing on me from time to time...new and old version). I have used Opera in the past (it's been over a few years now) and was sure I wouldn't be disappointed to go back. So I installed it and everything went smoothly. I mean, some things obviously needs some getting used to, but the browser is much more stable than Firefox and it's quicker.

YAY !! opera is one of the best/or best browser around right now. Nwo tahts its free, it will get much more users and because its much faster then FireFox, it will over-pass it and will become the most popular browser. Im gonna go and download it right now and change it to my default browser .

Trouble With Opera Website Or Me?
(7) This just started occuring when I downloaded the new version of Opera. I think there must be setting
for this but I cant find it. Anyway whenever I go to a web page Opera loads it from memory (not the
internet). Now this speeds up your computer (or it should) but does not provide up-to-date
information. The only way I could find to get around this is to press the refresh button but when
you are using forums like I do pressing the refresh button on every page just to get it updated
takes a lot of time (not to mention it is anoying). Does anyone know how to solve this prob....
