Hi, I think the question was something like : "from a practical point of view, what should I do ?" If you have enough credits, you should simply fill the form asking for an account creation. Hi and Welcome! OK I will explain how things work around here to you... You have to earn credits here to get and keep a hosting plan. We have two hosting plans on offer. Package One - Starter Package20 megs of space 500 Mb Monthly Control Panel Admin Support CGI, PHP Credits to apply for account: 10 Credits. Package Two - Basic Package150 megs of space 5 Gb Dedicated BW Control Panel Admin Support CGI, PHP Credits to apply for account: 30 Credits. So you need a minimum of 10 credits to apply for the Starter Package and 30 credits for the Basic Package. Before you start can I suggest you read the board RULESA full explaination of how the credits system can found HEREWe have a great FAQ system here for you to read HEREWhen you have enough credits then go HERE and fill out your account request form and the moderating and admin team will proccess your account request. Reactivating Hosting Account
Had a 30points hosting account, then left AstaHost of a while, and now (3) Well, about a year ago I did apply for the 30 credits hosting account, here in AstaHost. I kept my
site up for some months, but after some time the site idea kind of died, I wasn't able to post
regurlarly enough to keep ti up and running. Now, I gathered up with a friend to start a new and

(1) At one time I had SSL shell access to my account but not now. I presume I was dropped during one of
the recent upgrades. I would like to re-request this for my account. I need to update my phpBB
install and I would like to run the .patch file directly from the shell. I have done this in the

My Account DNS
Having problems with domains (5) Hello, Well for a quite long time, almost a year I was having different problems with my domains,
here is the problem: my main subdomain I got with astahost works every time the server isn't on
downtime, but with top level domains like .net and uni.cc, for a month now almost everyday for about
6 hours I can't access my sites and I get 404 error, I thought it was my ISP stupid DNS stuff,
because I could get to the sites using Google proxy, but the domains don't really always work
for other people from my country on different ISP, so I though this is something....
This Account Has Been Suspended
(6) I think there has been an error with my account credits. I loged in yesterday and I had credits for
2.6 days, and a few minutes ago my account and website was active, but suddenly a "This Account Has
Been Suspended" error message appeared. In the main page now it sais a have (-)4.02 (Negative)
hosting credits. Is this an error? Maybe I'm wrong... EDIT: Ooops, maybe its for my latest
post, but now it sais I have credist for 1.26 days, wich is more accoring with my calculus. Thanks

your account! Please Contact Administrator. And then it printed out this info: The /usr, /, or
/var partition on this server is running out of disk space. This WHM operation has been temporarily
suspended to prevent something bad from happening. Please ask your system admin to remove any files

How Long Does It Take
Registering a new account (5) Im looking at the new hosting requests and have noticed them beginning to stack up, even some guy
withdrew it for it was taking too long (3 days) in his opinion. This isnt at all directed to that
specific issue , but it brings up the question, how long does it take to approve a request? Trap17
gets it done in 1-4 days, can see that from looking at thier approved, but asta's are way all
over the place so its hard to tell. Im actually beginning to write posts in notepad and saving them,
for once i am approved, all the points i have accumulated in the time waiting will ....

(1) Dear Admin, I apologize for the inconvenience, but is there any chance you could change my forum
username from Djetamun to isMobham? I usually use the latter, and I have no idea why I joined

Is The Server Down Or Is It My Account ?
(8) I keep trying to connect to http://www.mooreo.astahost.com (my web hosting account) and it says it
can't connect. Just curious if it's down? Can anyone else access it. I deleted the
index.php or .html file, but I haven't uploaded anything to it yet. I have sufficient credits.
Any ideas? I read a previous topic about the hosts file, but why would that help? Any help is
greatly appreciated. Oh, and just a curious question. Does astahost plan on upgrading to php 5.x
