Get The Current Running Machine Ip-c/c++ Coding
(2) There are many ways to get the current machine ip in c/c++ coding. I prefer to use
gethostbyname(*hostname). But the issue with this is we need to pass hostname to get the IP address
of the machine. Is there any other alternative solution to get the current machine IP without
knowing the hostname?. It works fine in windows as we can pass a null pointer in place of hostname
then gethostname() will return the IP. But same will not work in Linux, it will give segmentation
fault. If you have any suggestion please let me know. ....

Ipb Problem On Intranet
...running W2k server (5) I installed PHP, MYSQL, and IPB on my win2000 server on my home network, but i've run into
problems and can't figure out what the cause is. If i log in from the server, i can access the
forum, browse, add, etc, and admin CP works fine too. if i try to access it from another computer on
the network, it loads the index page, but anything i click on gives me a 404 error. if i want to log
in to the admin cp over network, it loads the login screen without pictures, and after inputting
name/password i get the same error. I probably should get a technician over here to ....
Cron Jobs Not Running
Is anyone else facing this problem? (10) Is anyone having problems with their cron jobs? I have Drupal installed, and it requires a script
to be run every day, but it has been about 2 weeks since the cron job has run. It is required so
that I can clean up old logs from by database. But instead, I have been just getting mails from the
server that my cron jobs did not run. I have not made any changes, and it was running properly
prior to that. Could someone please look into this? It is not a priority issue, but it would soon

Running Linux On Windows (Knoppix)?
(9) I'd like to see how my website runs on different browers. However, I only have access to a
Windows XP machine and I do not want to instally multiple OSs and dual boot the system all the time
because it'll probably take up a fair bit of storage space on my hard drive. I'd like to
