| | hi, well i have a very old aladdin tnt2 and i am having alot of problems with it in graphics and speed, first off it is very slow in games that have minimum specs much lower than my pc, second i have an old copy of UT and all the text/images are garbled if i try to run it in d3d, but in opengl it works... very slowly, all other games will work in d3d as well as opengl.
Could anyone suggest the drivers i should use?

Try this driver http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=388Since your card is old you'll need to find drivers that are from the same time because video card drivers come out soo fast your videocard becomes out of date. Hope this helps you out.

QUOTE(HellFire121 @ Jan 29 2006, 07:04 PM) ok thanks, this wont stuff up my pc or anything? because it is a beta driver, so i dont know. Do you know if it works? If should work, thats the one i used when i had my TNT2 M64 card. IF not go lower in drivers like don't go pass the 30.xx drivers. Your card won't be optimized for it.

Boost Nvidia Gaphics Card Performance
without overclocking. (11) Most computers support AGP modes called "Fast Writes" and "Side Band Addressing". i wont go into
detail about what they are, its way too confusing. but whats important about them is 1) they are
dissabled by default . 2) dissableing them causes a noticable drop in 3d graphics performance. The
reason they do this, is because some chipsets (some versions of VIA for example) become very
unstable and crash when FastWirites are enabled. this is rare... but, but defaulting to off,
willsave Nvidia alot of money on the customer support side of things. But many of you Nvidia ....
