ok i have a MSI mb with an AMD Athlon 3200 64 and i would like to upgrade it. What is the highest i can go with the processor?

You need to give more specs.
You can go as highest as the motherboard allows it. So you should post the model of your MSI MotherBoard. cool.gif
Or you can find it yourself, entering on the MSI web site:
MSI Global WebSite

There you seek for the model of your motherboard, and check the specifcations of the processor, and check what type of processor supports

Then you must enter in the AMD Web Site and check, depending on the specs you found, the highest velocity of the processor they have.

As the motherboard support that processor, it should be able to handle any of that type (at leat that the motherboard specifies a limit) rolleyes.gif

Well I have the MSI K8N800 Platinum and an AMD Athlon 64 3400, I think it's just about the newest CPU I could get in Belgium (other than the 64FX)

Why do you want to upgrade LOL You still have very very recent specs.

    So, I shuted down my PC. Then in the morning I tried to turn it on but nothing happend. I cleared
    case and tried to turn on againg. But nothing happend again! :-( I went to Service Center. They
    change my cooler on CPU. I got home and turned on my PC. All was OK. At the next morning when I
    turn it on on the screen was printed some about CPU and FSB. I shuted it down and wanted turn it on.
