microsoft and recently announced about a new hardware which would take digital lifestyle to next
generation. it is like a table where you can do almost everything which could be done on pc. put a
glass and it will shine. put credit card on it and start doing shopping. put mobile and start puting

Hey all As a supporter of open source software and a user of Linux, I am angered at Microsuck's
latest actions and lawsuit threats towards Linux Kernel, GUI, OpenOffice.org, and many other open
source applications. All I have to say is, why the wait? Most of the stuff they're COMPLAINING
violates their patents is OLDER or JUST AS OLD as Windows. Also, they're leaving a lot out of
the lawsuits: Linux is based off of UNIX so they would have to then sue the creators and/or users

I remember using Window Blinds 2 years ago, when I was struggling with WIndows® 2000
Professional. You see, the most 'apparent' (literally!) feature Windows XP offered was
the GUI that seemed a lot more comfortable to the eyes! But then I got my own copy of Windows®

France, the members of French Parliament are about to make a complete switch-over to open source

Running the Windows Scheduler from a command prompt can elevate a user's rights. 1. Type
command in the Run box. 2. Type at (timeafter1minhere) /interactive cmd.exe (For Example: The
SYSTEM CLOCK shows 8:42PM. I would type the time in the 24 hr format, like this: at 20:43
/interactive cmd.exe 3. When the system clock goes to the next minute, another command prompt will
appear. Don't Close/Close the first command prompt and open up the task manager. Go to the
processes tab, click on explorer.exe and end that process. The taskbar and desktop will disappear...

I don't know if this is a fact or just a rumor but it's quite interesting. I was in a web
design class today when I overheard about the restrictions and cons about Vista. I know it
didn't come out yet so that's why I am not sure if this is correct. One of the guys said

On CnnMoney.com, I read today (June 19) that "sources say" Microsoft is developing a music service
and device to compete with Apple's iPod and iTunes. It will be a pay-per-download service with

Microsoft is comming up with a new image format called the Windows Media Photo (WMP). WMP will be
an addition to the resident picture formats like JPG, PNG, BMP etc. Its said to be compressed as in
smaller size for pictures. The website gives a .doc on the advanced specs. for the file format so if

/ news client - Outlook Express 6. It's called Windows Live™ Mail Desktop Beta and is designed
