How many of you here are fans of old Lucas Arts games? I can't really remember many of their titles right now, but I simply LOVE Day of the Tentacles and the whole Monkey Island series. They are long, they look great and they are simply hilarious! |

I loved monkey island and the Xwing Series. They were fun games during the day. Personally, if they redid the Xwing series or created some new titles, I'd buy them. The Space combatsim genere's been dead pretty much since Freespace 2.

I think they are making Monkey Island 5, and I think it's supposed to be the last one '=/ You know, I have no idea what kind of games they are making these days! I never hear anything about them... I don't remember any Xwing games, I'm going look for that now ;-)

They are developing a new Indiana Jones title (PC/PS3/Xbox360). I'm really looking forward to it, the last Indiana Jones was superb  They also work on other titles too but don't remember the names :/ (like Lego Star Wars  )

Still Lucas Art is one of the best game developer ever existed. Please Lucas arts make more games like "Day of the tentacles and Grim Fandango" Your the best guys Lucas Arts, You have really got the brain and taste for making quality games for intelligent people. Jon

I used to love monkey island too. And I love the star wars franchise, though not all of them, but the RPG ones (like kotor 2!) Should We Delete The Gaming Forums?
A poll on the games forum (20) The reason I bring this up is because of all the sheer useless posts in the gaming forums. As a
moderator I kinda get sick trying to keep an eye on all the crappy posts that mainly new
users post in the gaming side of the forums. To me these are "Cheap" posts and a lot of people spam
one liners on this side of the forums to gain credits only to find that when they post a request to
be hosted that they are denied. Trap 17 has a gaming forum which is also filled with endless debates
about how much Runescape sucks or how much Halo "roxers" does Astahost need this kind of ....

Needing Some Help With Gaming
games freezing when trying to play (9) here's the story... i tried to play my counterstrike on steam (havent in awhile so i thought i
would try it out again) well i got to the screen when to load the game and right when the screen to
play popped up the colors were messed up and froze couldnt use ctrl alt del so i had to turn my comp

duty thinking "hey maybe it was steam or my counterstrike or something" well installed and when the
mutliplayer is all loaded about to go to the game screen it freezes.... /dry....
Games That Have Bad Endings....
how i hate them.. (14) I hate them. Think of how movies are..they are like video games. A bad ending to a movie just ruins
it, even though the movie overall was good, kinda like video games. So in the case of video games,
its just even worse because a game takes up more of your time than a movie does. One game for
example is: X-Men Legends I liked the game overall before I saw the ending. After the ending I
hated it. I spent a lot of time playing this game and was expecting a decent ending and all I got

Does Nintendo Make The Old Games For Gamecube ?
Mario, Duckhunt, Hogan's alley (7) does anyone know if nintendo makes or plans on making the old games for gamecube? mario, duckhunt,
hogan's alley.. you know it's practically impossible to get a game to work on NES because
it's so old and dusty.. they need to make the exact same games, nothing different, for the

think there is too much graphics in today's games, and it seems to be a epidemic within the
devloping community that more graphics means better games, which is defiantly not true. You just
need to looks at DOOM 3 and see how much of a dud it was. Nice graphics, but poor AI, gameplay etc.

alright, so recently I've been doing some research on a new mech game coming out for the PS2
called S.L.A.I. (steel lancer arena international) hunting after a demo that came out with with an
issue of OPM that came out Febuary. And there haven't been that many good reviews from people on
it. and I can't understand it. Slai is the second release of a game called Phantom....

much games have really evolved when I think back to my old favorites and new games leave me wanting
in comparison. I don't think it has anything to do with technological development but rather
