Hey Guys,

Coming up April 5th is a special day for web standards. Dustin Diaz, who's blog about web standards I regularly read, is promoting everyone to take their CSS off their site for one day.

What's the idea? As you probably know, there are many browsers that are not CSS compliant or at least don't read CSS the same as others.

By completely removing your CSS you'll get a quick head's up about just how accessible and attractive your site is.

Go and sign up. It'll be fun. It'll bring some unexpected traffic to your site. And, you just may learn something!!

I saw that a couple of days ago and was peed off that I couldn't join because my site has been completely developed yet (it was my own choice not to sign-up).

I suggest you do take this on board though (ONLY if you are a standards-based designer/developer) to gain inbound traffic. It's free traffic, so don't be too worried about giving links to other naked sites

I must say that the idea is great, and I would gladly participate. The only problem is that I'll have to wait for another year since 5th April has been before 14 days

Uk Trading Standards Catch Company Selling Firefox

It seems that the UK tranding standards caught a company selling the free and open software Mozilla
Firefox on CD. (somthing that is completely legal provided any changes are made open source) Then
preceeded to confescate all the CD's and inform the Mozilla foundation. After the ebarrasment
of Mozilla ( a 3 person company ) having to give trading standards a lesson on the Law, trading
standards official commented that its very hard to enforce anti-piracy, when Mozilla is giving

I just recently got a Motorola V3 RAZR cell phone from http://www.letstalk.com . The price tag
said, "Free." Let me warn you, it really wasn't free. You have to pay for the phone and then
they give you rebates and stuff, which then equals free. But by signing up for a free cell phone
from that company, it constitutes agreement in paying for a yearly contract for your cell phone to
be able to call people. So I scored a deal, they get paid by the phone distributor, the phone
company (mine's T-Mobile) gets the money, everyone wins! One thing though, their customer ....

Support For Css Standards

I've recently decided to make my site 100% support CSS 2.1 standards as well as xhtml 1.0
standards. However, when I load my site in IE, some of the styles don't show up properly. For
example: I have a tag defined, and then I redefine it with :hover, yet IE doesn't activate the
:hover portion. Is there anywhere I can go to find out which standards are supported by which
browsers? ~Viz....

dos, hehehe and then wolfenstein 3d. On those games the only 3d thing is the environment, the
enemies, the weapons and you are only 2d. Wherever you face the enemy, the enemy is still facing
you. And so as the ammunition. And you can't look up or down. But in those times I enjoyed
playing them. id software developed those games. Then duke nukem 3d was realeased, it was a great
DOS FPS and you could be able to look up or down but it returns back to its normal view. Those....

(so I'm sorry for my english) But our sportsmen did really good in 2004 olympic games, we won
one gold and two silver medals... For a such small country it's a big thing! Maby the only
sportsmen which you could know are basketball players... We did really wel this year, but
unfortunatelly we were only 4-th... But american team coach said: "Such a small country made such a
