| | It is apparently a new fad to have a tattoo done that looks like a weapon is shoved into the front of your pants. Not only does this seem a little risky when it comes to being seen by a store owner, the police, or anyone in general - like me! But, here's another concern one should consider before attempting to get a weapon (like a gun) tattoo. A realatively recent article read: Two men trying to trace a loaded .357-caliber Magnum as a pattern for a tattoo accidentally shot themselves, the Sheriff’s Department said Monday. Robert Glasser and Joey Acosta, both 22, were treated at a hospital in El Paso, Texas, after the shooting Thursday evening in nearby Chaparral. How dumn can you get?

My father always told me : our world is governed by fanatism and foolishness. Here you show a proof of the foolisness part. And your other post shows how surprising is the power of fanatism.

okay, that's just plain stupid . If they would have gone to a professional tatooist he would have had enough with the image of a gun. I honestly wouldn't want to have a gun-looking tatoo on my body only to let people think I'm carrying a gun, that's just sad. I'd rather take a nice looking dragon or something like that on my arms or something, that's cool

I don't really care for tatoos myself, but getting a gun tatoo? I'd definately prefer something else, it's also extremely stupid for people to trace a gun for a tatoo, I'm sure a professional tatooist would have a premade image of a gun that he could tatoo on. I'd probably never get a tatoo though. Sounds too painful and permanent for my liking, if I wanted it off I'd need a skin graft!

QUOTE(tamuna90 @ Feb 11 2008, 02:32 PM) agree tamuna, avoid such one-word posts, mods here hate that and could consider this as spamming. Bu the way, I moved this topic to the Life Talk forum, it's first "computer and tech" locations was not suited to this subject.

Transform Your Classic Xbox Into A Killer Media Center
(1) Don't ditch your classic Xbox just because you can't play Halo 3 on it: now it's easier
than ever to transform that old neglected console into a Unix-based media command center. A simple
software exploit lets you replace Microsoft's crippled dashboard and run the incredible, open
source Xbox Media Center (XBMC) software.

The Zune
Microsoft's iPod Killer (34) Today Microsoft has officially launched their answer to iPod, Zune. Looking at it, it looks
suspiciously like its counterpart, iPod; almost exactly the same design. The Zune is a 30GB music
player with a few different that Microsoft considers their competitive advantages. Support more
format - one of the advantage Zune have over iPod is the ability to support multiple popular music
file formats than iPod. Wireless sharing – you can wirelessly share Zune to Zune. Zune lets you
spontaneously share full-length sample tracks of your favorite songs, homemade recordi....
Ruby On Rails
an outright PHP Killer??? (6) A website that I visit pretty regularly, Sitepoint.com, today published an excellent introduction
for Ruby On Rails (ROR). I, like many of the webdevelopers, have been terribly curious about this
almost "magical, no fuss" web development language, hence the time was perfect for Sitepoint to come
out with the article. Danny's article on Sitepoint gave a brief introduction, but moreso
stressed and emphasized on the "ease of development" that ROR brings along. We've witnessed
years of almost three decades of "hero worshipping" OOP techniques in software programmin....
Spot The Not!
A famous person or a serial killer ? (7) Well well well, now you have to make a decision based upon your ability to formulate a person's
profile just by his looks. Is he a famous inventor, lets say a programmer founder of the eiffel
method, or a serial killer?. Or maybe he invented the scheme programming language or maybe not,
maybe he murdered 8 women in London. Have a good look at this persons and take a wise decision,
don't just randomly click, this way the next time you are on the streets, you can spot the
not!. Good luck. My score: 9/10 Who ever thought that (omitted) was a famous killer -.-. U....

Tattoos
Opinions and Ideas (16) Ill say that before I get slated, I wasnt sure which forum to post this in, and healthcare to me
seemed most logical as tattoos are body mod and a way of altering your image to make yourself
happier. I just wanted to know if anyone here has any tattoos? I have the following and I
personally really enjoy my tattoos, most people take a disliking for the barcode and frankly im
tired of people asking if ive scanned myself in, I got it because its not something you see
everyday, im not all 'society has us under control so ill barcode myself' free radical kin....
Killer 7
another cel shaded fps... with a twist! (3) I first heard about this game about 2 years ago. That essentially means I have no idea what its
about. Its released later this year. When you look at it, it looks like every other FPS (aside from
the fact it's cel shaded). I just found out some interesting gameplay details, though. In the
game, you follow preset paths with forks you can take by turning. The skill of this game comes from
your quick aiming and taking quick shots at the baddies. I'm not sure how this will turn out. It
could either lead to a ton of cheap shots a la Dragon's Lair, or it could be v....
AVG: Computer Killer?
I dont know if this goes here but... (23) Yesterday, I downloaded AVG anti-virus free edition, and it found about 4 trojans. They were all
ad-ware, but they were still viruses. Anyway, I healed all of the files, and now I can't get my
dial-up to send or recieve any information. It is almost like one of the trojans I healed, was a
internet protocol. Most of my friends, and myself are completely baffled on what is wrong, and what
to do about it. My final resort is to back up any information I can, and format the hard drive. If
anyone has any ideas on what I can do, that would be appreciated.....
