As you might have read in the other posts, I have made some hacker challenges. This because I want to increase my own coding skills as well as improving yours and of course I want you guys to have something like a weekly puzzle.
The passwords you'll be asked to find are nothing, they do nothing, they mean nothing. So it's no use asking for them since them you missed the whole exploiting part.
I am planning to make challenges so as long as
1. There is shown interest in them 2. I still have inspiration
Just 2
However, there are a few things I want to clear up:
1. Please don't give away the correct answers or (partial) walkthrough for the challenges. Because that might spoil the fun for others. 2. The challenges consist of 1 PHP file called 'challenge#.php' where # is the challenge number. You don't need to walk around in my own homepage I saw a few who did . 3. If there is something you don't understand or if you need a hint you can post in the appropriate forum.
4. If you think you solved the challenge, pm me to get yourself on the 'hacked by lists' on each of the challenges topic.
Notice from jipman:
As a final note, I'm planning to make a challenge at least every 2 weeks, but of course, I could also place one every week, this all depends on me having enough time / or inspiration
The most important thing is that you have had fun in the challenges
Hey, i don't know anything about hacking and cracking and all that stuff. But i would like to learn something about it, so do you have some good tips / tutorials?
I also asked myself this; I always thought that hacking was something wath some bad criminals with no life hacked some computer of the CIA and such, but you just give a simple php-file? WTF? Some explenation?
Sorry guys, hacking challenges forum and the challenges itself are removed because the server had some difficulty keeping up with all the hacking attempts and because some sponsors didn't like the image it was giving astahost.
if you want to play around with so called hacking challenges, you could go to the following sites:
For education and hobby use only. The is a live cd called " backtrack" there are many hacker

Hi, I have been using PureBasic for about a year now i have really enjoyed it! Here is a
little description about it: QUOTE PureBasic is a programming language based on established
BASIC rules. The key features of PureBasic are portability (Windows, AmigaOS and Linux are
currently fully supported), the production of very fast and highly optimized executables and, of
course, the very simple BASIC syntax. PureBasic has been created for the beginner and expert alike.
We have put a lot of effort into its realization to produce a fast, reliable and system friendly ....
It is amazing the innovative designs that people have come up with in building tree houses. Here
are nine designs and 3 more tree house types. How about an unusual one that it
appears could be mass produced, might need some sturdy supports however. And even Microsoft is
getting into the action, putting a worker into her very own tree house . Lastly, Castles can
be apart of the wonders of the world. Only thing to really wonder about is where they get all
those wax for all the wax candles to keep the chandeliers lit!!....
QUOTE(BBC News) Curs or hackers target WoW players World of Warcraft players are being
targeted by hackers exploiting flaws in how Windows handles animated cursors. The flaw came to
light in late March and lets attackers take over vulnerable PCs via booby-trapped websites.
Warcraft players seem to be one of the targets because accounts for the game are potentially worth
significant sums of money. Microsoft has issued a patch for the flaw early to combat the rising
number of attacks. Security firms tracking how criminal hackers are exploiting the cursor flaw s....

Hey guys, In the last thread, i started a topic on best free security software. I then asked, why
are regular people victtimized? Kyro stated earlier that they do it for money, but thats not always
the case. Their are people who do it for the hell of it, or because they believe they will ruin
microsofts reputation. Don't they realixe that the average person won't just stop using
windows and switch to linux? What are your views? Can we one day stop them, or should we keep on
running from those nasty little virus's and spyware?....
Hacker's view for easy-spoofing an IP address. The way for protecting our
sites against this fake . It has been told very much about IP spoofing, as this is a desirable
feature wanted in order to obtain priviledges or get a credential for accessing a site. I am not
going to talk about TCP, packet sniffing, or such other hacker techniques involving networking
stuff, as competence for solving those troubles is of network administrator and not of webmasters.
What i am going to talk about, is the fact of faking a source IP for a connection to ....

I found this very inetersting article which introduces you to some of the top notch
hackers/spammers/scammers of the recent years. The way they've been described, they seems to be
the kingpins of cybercrime in their own domains.. Here are some short excerpts:
QUOTE(BusinessWeek.Com) Dimitry Ivanovich Golubov doesn't look like an arch criminal. A
baby-faced 22-year-old Ukrainian, he is described by his lawyer as an unassuming part-time student
at Mechnikov University in Odessa. Dimitry Ivanovich Golubov doesn't look like an arch

Being able to stay in touch is great, but only on my terms. When I leave my apartment to go to
classes, or someplace else on campus, I leave my cell phone in my apartment. Why? Because if I'm
going to sit in a classroom for an hour, which I'm paying to do, then I don't want people
bothering me with text messages, pointless phone calls or other stupid stuff like that. And if I do
take the phone with me, I make friends with the "off" button. That's probably my favorite
feature, hehe. I like being completely unavailable. That's the whole point of going ....
I've spent a good hour and a half playing around with all sorts of combinations, but nothing

account (and with a perticular username) to a designated folder While I'm asking, before I

security researchers in the U.K. have now published "proof of concept" code for unpatched bug in
the way Microsoft Internet Explorer browser handles the JavaScript computer language. It shows
how hackers could exploit the problem and possibly take over a Windows system. According to Russ

Nice link I have found here, remember pole position? it was a great game for the ATARI in which you
controlled a car racing through the desert, city, to las Vegas, it was fun, it looked like crap
though. Well here's the commercial which ATARI used to promo it in the 1980's:
http://www.youtube.com/watch.php?v=DkG1KQFfNk0 It is pretty funny, I like the exagerration in the
explosions and then when they change from real life to the crappy graphics haha. Anyways it was an
awesome game. Enjoy!....
Well they are not for free, but I found a site where the owner makes promotion of the one and only
Maine Lobster Vending Machine!. This is remarkable and unique and I have ever seen one in
person.. I hope soon. Basically you play like the normal vending machines, which you use a claw to
catch and if you get it, well a lobster for 2 dollars is not bad! The website with all the data
and specs about the machine is at: http://www.lobstergame.com/ They basically claim that this
machine earns 2000 dollars per week, that is, if 2 dollars each try, that's 1000 tri....

So far these are just surgested rules by my (qwijibow) What do you guys think ? (im not sure about
#3) please add to / subtract from as you see fit. but i think you will agree this forum requires
one or 2 additions to the main board rules. 1) You MUST have designed and setup the challenge
yourself. 2) For challenges where you attack the server itself you must own the target server, or
have permission from the server owner. 3) You must be capable of completing your own challenge.

And here's number 3 Before you try to hack this one, I have ONE hint to give you, if you
don't do this right the first time, you may encounter even more difficulty to pass this test, so
be carefull. Because this one is full of ambushes. http://jipman.astahost.com/challenge3.php ps.
I've run out of inspiration now, so it might take me a lot of time to write a nice new challenge

In the March issue of Popular Mechanics, there was an article about PC modding. Inside there, they
showed a pic of a homemade WiFi antenna, and gave a link to this site with instructions. Well,
yesterday at my friend's house, we made a prototype , but we need to remake it, because we
couldn't find a hosering, so we just attached the USB WiFi adapter to the sieve with wire, and
the cord is hanging down (if we had the hosering, it'd be going through a hole in the back of
the sieve). So, anybody like? Ya should, since it's cheap and a 12" could even g....
I'm not really well versed in the arts of using the computer without software aid, anyway, my
friend's friend created a invision free board for roleplaying, and this hacker who hates my
friend's friend hacked into the original board and deleted it, now he is attacking the second
board that we have made... Can someone give me some insight on how this hacker is always successful?
Is there anyway to block this?....
It is a common practice for some people to take advantage of a situation, never thinking of other
persons who have genuine causes and willingness to abide by rules and regulations. We all know how
large our sites are and what resources they would eat up, so if our sites are too large for the free
service provided then it maybe making enough money to pay for itself. But who cares if the service
provide make up new rules or stop providing free hosting for people who really need it? You didn’t
like the service anyway so it’s no big deal. Well some of us care about loosi....
If you have the time, think about it and vote so we can all see which is trully the best racing
