| | I know I have been a bit absent after getting a ComputingHost account, but I am still a member here, ain't I? 
Well, been involved in a Drupal module development, and that got me into IRC. Then I remembered that AstaHost has a IRC channel at DalNet - #AstaHost. So, just logged in to check - is it only for mods here? Was wondering, if it was only for mods? Is it still alive?

As far as I know it is not only for mods, I just don't think alot of people use it. I know a couple years back it got relatively popular for awhile and there was usually a handful of people in there at any given time, but since then it's tapered off again and lost its popularity so if there isn't people in it that's likely the reason, not that its mod only

I cannot remmeber where I saw it, it was ages ago, but there was a webpage that had all these stats about the Astahost IRC channel. I'll try and find it again!

Were They Really Alive? (15) I recently shaw a show on Discovery that talked about the possibility. I don't think it's a
coincidence that mythologies of nations from all over the world (even ones that didn't interact
with one another) all featured dragons. So did they exist long ago? Or where these myths referring
to dinosaurs? It's an overlooked issuein my opinion. What do you think? I think these legends
did refer to dinosaurs, its just that the dinosaurs were exaggerated a bit.....

Bush is king (of the cronies). (2) Man, I am impressed. George Bush has stones. I mean, he'll appoint nearly anyone to nearly
any position regardless of their lack of credentials. Look at Michael Brown, until recently he was
in charge of FEMA & had not an ounce of qualification. Look at the cost in suffering and lives.
Look at the cost in dollars to all of our children. Anyone see a parallel with Bush's handling
of the situation in Iraq? He didn't listen to the people he paid to know better. He thinks
that he has a mandate from heaven. When are we going to show him he's wrong?....

(15) I prefer my fighting games in the flavor of Dead Or Alive 3. SImply put its the best fighting game
to date. Many people put the series down(for obvious reasons) and consider it to be a button masher
but thats simply becouse they are a scrub at playing it. There are a handfull of people who have got
the most out of doa3 and they have experieanced just how deep the gameplay realy is. Unfortunately
this isnt a place your average gamer can get to easily becouse it takes much practice and time. Ive
seen many times the argumant that any random hack can button mash and defeat a....

causing open source clients to fail to connect) well, once again the portocol changes have been
programmed into kopete, and dureing gentoo's "emerge --sync && emerge --update world" last
night, version 3.4.1 of kde-network was installed, along with a new version of kopete. i dont have
anything againsed gaim, (which i was using while waiting for the next version of KDE) but i ....

Following up on the robots-life issue (47) Before I started this topic, I looked up the words Life , virus and The characteristics of

Dead Or Alive
(0) Dead or Alive has to be one of the best fighting series there is out to this date. there are plenty
of charecters, levels and modes that the game never gets boring + with all the moves and combos
there are it makes it always fun but yet challenging for even the best players and one other good
thing is there are alot of girls in skimpy clothes so if your into the whole 3D girls its always fun
to look at lol....
