I agree..till date i must've tried like five different hosts and was never satisfied with any of them. My friend told me about astahost and i decided tto give this place a try. I kept posting and got my hosting. When i logged in and saw my cPanel i was S-T-U-N-N-E-D!!! No other host matched the sheer number of features offered. I am now hooked to this place and now am sincerely trying to keep up my hosting credits.

 come to astahost, it's the best! you have to want to post though, although i didnt when i came first. i was searching some free web hosts, tries asta and when i say 'Forum posting required' i was like sh*t man... but i love it now!
Im a member of trap17 comunity where are many younger people, but anyway they have a great free web hosting there, excellent support, and many good stuff... Astahost as their partner site, have same quality. They are just best free hosting sites you may find today.
The good thing I love about astahost is the fact that they haven't closed like my last web host
i just started but i haven't found anything bad about this site, except once i lose the forum, i can't seem to ever seem to find it again.
It's close between Astahost and Atspace, so I use them both. Astahost has more features, and supports PHP, you get web mail, Fantastico, Shopping carts, up to 150mb of space (if you post enough), 99 Mysql databases...
I'm pleased to read this stuff as have tried a few webhosts who have been a bit rubbish or not many features, limits, etc. Good to know (from the sounds of things) this place keeps peeps happy and offers lots of features.
I am actually pretty hapy with it... I don't even use my hosting as a matter of fact I am here for the forums. I do have my qualms however. It is hard to get into a good conversation here and simply there are not enough threads for me to post on. I usually don't post on a thread unless its good but things get pretty slow around here. Either way my posts are usually long so it keeps my hosting credits up to say the least. Yea the forums are very slow... that would be my only qualm.

Now, after almost a month of participation in the forum I have verified that they are really making the declaration a reality, because they have propitiated an atmosphere in which we are filled with enthusiasm and attitude of service. We turn out to be stimulated to take part according to our personal possibilities. It is worth emphasizing the quick and effective help that is offered in the diverse topics. I really feel satisfied with the quality and level of the forum and the good references of the service of hosting. That is why I am requesting my free hosting package now. 
Yeah best forumsand hosting and a great helpful community. And also with all those features you can't go wrong. It also has no ads and everyone helps you out, the admins especially do a great job. Also with the question about Xisto and Astahost. Astahost is run by the same person as Xisto (i'm pretty sure)

I don't believe there is a difference webhostwise, they are different forums (trap17 is a lot more relaxed)

I wouldn't know about how great the cpanel is... but does anybody know whats the difference between astahost and trap17? I read on the credit info that they are somewhat connected is that correct? Also, does astahost provide the web housing server themselves, or do they purchase it from Xisto and then provide free web hosting astahost?
